The Das Schloss games in particular are more than likely to end by a playing holding the game objective, meaning that there will be no defined winning positions other than #1. I'd like to know how you intend on resolving these cases -- it's important to my game plans!
Good observation. Since that map is a hard one and winning by owning the game objectives requires a methodic plan of action, I'll reward the winner with extra points as follows:
When someone wins a board by holding game objectives:
*If there are 7 players alive at that stage they will get 1 points each and the winner will be compensated with 14 points
*If there are 6 players alive at that stage they will get 2 points each and the winner will be compensated with 12 points
*If there are 5 players alive at that stage they will get 3 points each and the winner will be compensated with 10 points
*If there are 4 players alive at that stage they will get 4 points each and the winner will be compensated with 8 points
*If there are 3 players alive at that stage they will get 5 points each and the winner will be compensated with 6 points
*If there are 2 players alive at that stage they will get 7 points each and the winner will be compensated with 4 points
*If there is 1 player alive at that stage he/she will get 10 points and the winner will be compensated with 2 points
So the winner will get 15 points + the compensation. Also, you still get 2 points per player killed.
To make it more interesting, this scoring system will also apply on City Mogul (Hold the Mall and the CC Manor for 1 round), Feudal Epic (Hold the 8 castles for 1 round) and Peloponnesian War (Hold the 8 shields for 1 round). That way the winner will gain a significative difference from his/her opponents. If a tie-breaker is necessary (on Feudal War as stated on the first post of the tournament) this scoring system will apply the same way.
A big thanks to René Magritte ManBungalow for this important observation!
