Home Nations 2007 [need British/Irish players]

Who Can Enter?
Any player residing in the British Isles - i.e. England, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales. Therefore you must have either a Union or Irish flag in your profile. Non-premium players are welcome but you should always have a slot available at 3 days notice.

How Do I Enter?
Just simply make a post in this thread one piece of information:
country (England/Republic of Ireland/Northern Ireland/Scotland/Wales)
There is a limit of 20 players for each country. Additional players wishing to enter for a country with 20 players will be put on a subs bench.

What Is The Game/League Format?
Starting from the top of each countries list I choose a player to represent their country in a game with the following format:
<rotational map>
standard game
5 players
sequential
flat
unlimited
Then I set up the next game with the next player from the list and so on. Once i get to the bottom of the list for as country I will go back to the top of that list.

What Do You Mean By Rotational Map?
Game 1 Classic, Game 2 Africa and so on. Once a game has been set up using 8 Thoughts then we go back to the beginning and use Classic again.

How Will The League Be Compiled?
The winner of each game earns 1 point for their country and a league table with the 5 countries will be updated on page 1 of this thread.

When Will Games Be Set Up?
I will try to always keep about a dozen or so games running all the time.

How Many Games Will I have To Play?
Under normal circumstances you won't be asked to play more than one game at a time. If you are in the middle of a long game and the list comes back to you then I will skip past you. There will be times (especially if you are representing a country with a lot of players) you won't be involved in a game for a while. Likewise if your country has few players listed you'll be involved in a game most of the time.

Once Invited, How Long Do I Have To Join A Game?
When I PM you with the game password you have 3 days to join the game. If you cannot play please PM me back asap and I will move on to the next player. If I hear nothing from after 3 days you will be dropped from your countries list (you can always rejoin later if you want) and I will again move on to the next player.

What If I Go On Holiday?
If you are on holiday (or need to temporarily withdraw for any other reason) just post a message here with one word "injured" (with a return date if you know it) and you will be marked injured on your country list.

How Long Will This Tourny Last?
I'm not 100% sure but I have provisionally called it "Home Nations 2007" so perhaps to the end of the year?

Before You Join
-British and Irish players only.
-You must be happy to play games using any map (hey you only have less than a 2% chance of landing with Circus Maximus!).
-You must be able to join games at 3 days notice.
-Please be patient - it can sometimes take a few days for games to get started.

No problem with the 4 days. We're waiting for another Northern Irish player to join efore we can get game 2 underway anyway.
