this is the first time im trying to host o tournament, so i might be a bit sloppy in introduction, but i promise ill give my best to explain everything!
first of all, this has come to my mind mainly because every time i join the tour, i got spanked in first round and bye bye freakns, see you next year. well, im plaining to play more then one game this time!
thus, this is going to be a league of 12 teams-4 members each, all playing 22 head to head duels.
so, lets get to the rules.
RULES
How many participants?
12 teams, 4 members each team, thats 48 members. planing to have 2 teams in reserves, but its not mandatory. being premium however is mandatory as all the players will have 5 games in each round.
How the tournament is going to be running?
every friday evening CET, i will create one round and send invitations through PM. all the players will have 48hrs to join a game. if im somehow unable to create games friday(going to bar after work, or having to spend some time with a girl of opposite sex, or im simply lazy atm), ill do that saturday. if i have business trip, and im away from my computer through whole weekend, you will be noted infront on this thread.
What set of games will be played?
this is going to be head to head tournament, between teams. every week you will play different opponent, 22 rounds in all, twice against every team. once on the maps and with settings you chose, second time on maps your opponents have chosen. end every round will have five games played for every member.
lets look at the example how it will look like, easier for you to understand cause my english sucks.
Team A have 4 memebers:
player 1
player 2
player 3
player 4
Team B have 4 members:
player 5
player 6
player 7
player 8
and they play against eachother.
the games that will be created are:
singles:
player 1 vs player 5 (best seeded players from both teams)
player 2 vs player 6 (second best seeded players)
player 3 vs player 7 (third seeded players)
player 4 vs player 8 (forth seeded players)
doubles:
player 1&player 2 vs player 5&player 6
player 3&player 4 vs player 7&player 8
quadruples:
1, 2, 3, 4 vs 5, 6, 7, 8
also, every member will have two additional games. one 6 players terminator game and one 6 players assassin game. every terminator and assassin game will have 6 players from different teams. best ranked players from first 6 teams will create one assassin and one terminator game. best ranked players from next 6 teams would do the same. second best players from 6 teams would do the same, etc, etc, etc.
What maps and settings will be used?
every team will chose 5 home maps, and 5 game settings.
games must be sequential, 24hrs move games! so no speed or freestyle! all the other settings(what map, cards, fog) will be chosen by every team.
as i said, 5 home maps, 5 settings. 1 home map for singles, 1 for doubles, 1 for quadruples, 1 for assassin, 1 for terminator
How to win this tournament?
simple. after 22nd round is finished, the team on the top of the table will be winner.
to be first, you will need most points. and this is how the points will be awarded:
singles: if you win inside of 15 rounds, you will get 3 points for singles. if you lose, you will get 0 points. if game is undecided after 15 rounds a tie will be announced and both players will get 1 point for singles. after adding all the points one team has won in all played rounds, team with most singles points will get 15 points. second best will get 12, third will get 10, 4th will get 9... worst team will get 1 point.
doubles: if you win inside of 15 rounds, you will get 3 points for doubles. if you lose, you will get 0 points. if game is undecided after 15 rounds a tie will be announced and both teams will get 1 point for doubles. after adding all the points one team has won in all played rounds, team with most doubles points will get 15 points. second best will get 12, third will get 10, 4th will get 9... worst team will get 1 point.
quadruples: if you win inside of 15 rounds, you will get 3 points for quadruples. if you lose, you will get 0 points. if game is undecided after 15 rounds a tie will be announced and all players will get 1 point for quadruples. after adding all the points one team has won in all played rounds, team with most quadruples points will get 15 points. second best will get 12, third will get 10, 4th will get 9... worst team will get 1 point.
terminator: every elimination inside of 15 rounds will give you one terminator point. all the eliminations that happens after round 15 will not count. again, adding all the points one team has won, team with most terminator points will get 15 points, second best gets 12, third 10, 4th 9... worst will get 1 point.
assassin: winner will get 3 assassin points if he kills his target for 15 rounds. if you kill wrong target, you will get -5 assassin points. if game isnt finished after round 15, winner will get 2 assassin points, all the others will get 1 assassin point. team with most assassin points will get 15 points, 2nd best 12, 3rd 10, 4th 9... worst 1 point.
summing all the points from 5 different events will create a table. the team with most points(max 5x15=75) will be at the top, team with fewest(min 5x1=5) will be on the bottom.
in case two teams have the same number of points, head to head duel will decide who is better. if they are still tied, one quadruples classic map, no cards, sunny game will be played.
How to apply?
simple. you just need to fill application form that is presented bellow:

or, if you dont have a team just state you would like to play, and if enough players apply like you i will create a team for you. then you will be able to fill up the application with settings you chose
one more thing!
after we have enough players and can start the tournament, i will look at the points of every player who is participating and make list of seeds in every team. player with most points in every team will be seeded first and will play doubles with second best in his team and will play singles against best seeded player of opposite team.
