23-7 for Traf, mostly while random and away maps are finished but his home maps still ongoing So expectation is to Even increase that lead. Exactly as I had predicted in my initial post, that it is not really hard task to win 67% of games when 3 of 5 are your home maps. Even from average CC player expectation is to win that high percentage with 3 of 5 home maps. I have, for instance, 60% overall winning score out of more than 20000 games played, where tons of games are multiplayer, battle royales or such where chances for winning are very low, thus from that position it is legit from my side to claim that winning 67% in only 1v1 games with 3 of 5 home maps is not something really hard to do.

What really is hard to do is to beat conqueror with Any score, when he chooses 3 of 5 maps, and I am very close to do it, currently 2-2 in decided games with hive quads decider and I have fairly good lead there (Even when going with second turn on his home map).

I got Spanish Armada for the second time as my random map - and it looks like I'm likely to be at 2-2 after losing one Spanish Armada and my home map, but with a solid lead on Hive and Das Schloss - with Spanish Armada 2 as the decider.

Traf's stats so far:

5-4 on players' home maps
0-0 on Hive
3-2 on Das Schloss
5-3 on Spanish Armada
10-1 on Random Poly-3

Total 23-10

Every player with at least one game finished has lost at least one game. Two players (Gematria and Carl) are 0-0 still.

SoN!c and theflycassanova have 2-1 leads over Traf.

j1mathman is 2-2.

Only two players are 1-3; the other 13 challengers are still alive.

If there is only one lower skilled player whom will Traf beat 5-0, then three players Need to beat Traf with 3-2 score in order to reach 16-9 and make up for that loss of 5-0 but so to put Traf Under 67%. Thus, no matters that high skilled players can (and will) beat Traf on these settings, he will still win the tournament on basis of beating lower skilled players with 5-0.

Me 2-3 in starts, got unlucky that radom map was schloss, almost the same as his home map (difference is Escalating no Spoils) and at this point almost secured win of 3-2.

Looks like 53-22 for Traf. As I forecasted, it was not really hard task to reach 67% wins when you play 3 of 5 home maps and when your opposition are mostly average skilled players (whoever wanted to sign-up) where winning with 4-1 or 5-0 score is not really a hard task.

The highly skilled players (speaking In terms of rank, Brigadiers and above, which are theflycassanova and me) both did beat Traf. There is also general rank Gematria74, but he/she is anyway not a 1v1 or poly player by experience (less than 50% of his/her lifetime games are 1v1, poly and teams combined, whereas for theflycassanova and me that ratio is bigger than 50%).

That said, congrats to Traf for winning the tournament on a basis of kicking average skilled players with 4-1 or 5-0 scores, which I had predicted will occur. ;)

I support and praise this idea of calling the community to play against conqueror, and I admire the willingness to play 75 games at a time, which was not even needed I think, as nobody would object if Traf played each opponent one after another. =D>

However, as I strive for excellency especially when it comes to conqueror, I am not happy that scoring system favorized beating the average ranked players 4-1 or 5-0 on maps that they (mostly) dont know how to play, but at the same time it was not favored approach of beating all the 15 players head-to-head, which could even be achieved over more rounds. for instance, if someone beats Traf in round 1 then only these players play more rounds until either that player reaches margin of 2 wins (0-2, 1-3, 2-4 etc) or Traf reaches margin of 1 win (2-1, 3-2, 4-3 etc). on this way, all players would have power of winning this tournament in their own hands, rather than relying on whether Traf will beat average ranked players with 5-0 or 3-2.
