TheTrueNorth wins!Greetings, everyone!
Don't you just feel sometimes that there just isn't enough crime in this world? For example, my home country of Portugal is a pretty safe place to live. Today I will try to change that!
Sixteen players will be murdering each other over and over again in this very cozy southwest European nation.
The competition will consist of three stages. In the first and second stage, players will be ranked in three different tables: one for the most killings, one for the most times surviving, and one for the less times you are killed. Only in the third and final stage kills, surviving, getting killed will be counted in the same table, in order to find the tournament winner.
Continental stageThe competition starts with players spread across the continental part of Portugal. There will be three groups (Lisbon, Porto, and Faro) consisting of six players each. Like I said, for each group there will be a different ranking: most kills, most times surviving, less times killed. Top player of each ranking advance to the second stage.
Madeira stageThe second stage will consist of one group of nine players. We will now have four rankings. The new ranking will be a combination of all factors (killing = 2 points, surviving = 1 point, getting killed = 0 points). Top player of each ranking advances to the final stage.
AƧores stageThe final stage will consist of one group of the surviving four players. Only one ranking, which combines all factors, will decide the champion.
All stages will be composed of six games each.
Point systemMost Kills ranking: winner of the game gets 1 point, everyone else gets 0.
Survivor ranking: survivors get 1 point. Winner and the one who was killed get 0.
Getting killed ranking: The one who was killed gets negative 1 point. Survivors and the winner get 0 points.
Overall ranking: Winner gets 2 points, survivors get 1 point, the one who got killed gets 0 points.
Tiebreakers1. If a top player advances to the next stage in more than one group, then the second (or third, if needed) placed player qualifies instead of the first.
2. When it comes to tiebreakers the "kills" ranking takes precedence over the "survival" ranking, which in turn, takes precedence over the "getting killed" ranking. In Madeira stage, the combination ranking is the strongest.
3. If players in a position of advancing in the tournament are still tied after a stage ends, and after the group precedences, there will be a tiebreaker game played between them to decide who advances;
3.1 If only two players are tied, the tiebreaker game will be using the standard rules;
3.2 If more than two players are tied, the tiebreaker game will be using the assassin rules, like the rest of the tournament;
Rules- Assassin;
- Escalating;
- Chained;
- No special gameplay;
- 20 rounds.
This game is for premium players only. Players will be randomly drawn into the groups using random.org.
Enjoy!
