Band of Brothers SUPER CUP

WELCOME to the world of CC 'SUPER' Tournaments!

So Called because they are among the LARGEST, MOST FUN Tournaments which contain 'LIVE' Scoreboards, Commentary and HIGHLIGHTS throughout the event!

This Tournment is the SISTER to the MOST SUCCESFUL TOURNEY to ever hit CC! The Band of Brothers Super League.

You DO NOT need to be a player in the LEAGUE to enter the CUP! It will give you a great taste of SUPER LEAGUE RISK and is a great introductory to the CC 'SUPER' Tournament!

But, it's not just for RISK GLORY we fight, there are prizes too!

The PRIZE is HUUUUGE!

Every Season in the Super League, players battle through thick and thin for a 1 in 10 chance of a 3 League SUPER PROMOTION...............

In the SUPER CUP, there is a HHHHUUMMMUUUNNNGGGOUS Prize Boost!

The SUPER CUP offers Players a MMMAAAASSSIIIVVVEEEEE 10 League SUPER-DOOPER PROMOTION!

***If you are a New Player to the world of SUPER LEAGUE RISK and you win this Tournment. You can start in the Super League and use the 10 League Promotion immediatly!
***If you are an existing Super League Player, Every Season you will be PROMOTED to the MAX from your current League until all 10 extra Promotions are used up!
***10 League Promotions are from Extra Promotions Spots if Available. Extra Promotions EXPIRE when the following CUP has completed.

The Tournament itself will comprise 2 Phases...........

- A SURVIVAL phase to whittle out the weakest 90% of players in our Ranks...........

- And a KNOCKOUT phase to take us from the 32 Survivors at the end of the Tournament..........

- To 1 CHAMPION of the SUPER CUP

RULES

This is a Round based Tournament where each Round needs to complete before we commence a new Round of Games.
It is also a fast moving Tournament, the SLOWEST MAPS are BANNED to allow steady progression through the Tourney.

SURVIVAL PHASE

Each Round each player will play 3 Games against the same opponent. 1 Game on each of the Players HOME MAP and 1 Game on a RANDOM MAP.

The SOLE OBJECT of the SURVIVAL PHASE is to reach the KO stages. When we get to the KO Phase, POINTS become meaningless! Up to that Phase, Points accumulation will only get you BYE's to get closer to the KO's! But these BYE's become CRUCIAL. Because players will FALL while you automatically advance to the next Round!

The SURVIVAL PHASE continues until ONLY 32 Players....or less SURVIVE!

HOME MAP
- Each entrant selects a HOME MAP at the start of the Tournament. This will remain as your HOME MAP for every Round.
- You accept Game Invites Last - Can move immediatly taking full advantage of your opponent not getting any snaps!
- Settings: Auto, Seq, Esc, Chained, Foggy, No Round Limit.

AWAY MAP:
- This is a Game on your OPPONENTS HOME MAP.
- You accept Game Invites First - Your Opponent can move immediatly taking full advantage of you not getting a Snap!
- Settings: Auto, Seq, Esc, Chained, Foggy, No Round Limit.

RANDOM MAP:
- A Game on a RANDOM MAP (randomly selected each Round from the Maps that are not BANNED).
- It will be SUNNY so both Players will be invited at the same time.
- Settings: Auto, Seq, Esc, Chained, Sunny, No Round Limit.

SCORING
- Win 3-0 = 2 Points.
- Win 2-1 = 1 Point.
- Lose 1-2 = Zero Points, but.......You SURVIVE to progress to the next Round.
- Lose 0-3 = TOURNAMENT ELIMINATION regardless of your points total.

BYES
- For every 40 Players set to participate in a SURVIVAL ROUND, The Tournament Leader will recieve a BYE in the following Round (excluding Rd 1 Obv).
- If 300 Players progress to Rd 2, there will be 7 BYE's up for Grabs. If only 250 make it, then only 6 BYE's will be up for Grabs.
- You cannot acculumate any points in a Round where you are lucky enough to have a BYE.

ODD MAN BYE
- If this leaves an ODD number of players. An additional BYE is added........The ODD MAN BYE.
- Meaning the next highest player on the Scoreboard also gets a BYE.

TIE-BREAKERS:
1. Points
2. Who had most Points in the Previous Round, then in every Previous Round back to Rd 1.
3. Lowest Total Game Duration of All the CURRENT Round Games***
4. Lowest Total Game Duration of the PREVIOUS Round Games***

***All Start Times of Games will be 12:00 CCT on the Match Day Set Up and will be the same for all players. It is this time and not the actual start time of the game that is used to calculate Game Durations.
***Where Games are closed as Predicted Result, Completion time is counted as 23.59 CC Time on the day the Round Ends.

ROUND DRAWS:
To determine each players opponents in each Round, After the Players on a BYE have been removed, It will be a RANDOM DRAW between the 'Top Half' and 'Bottom Half' of the remaining players on the Leaderboard.

KNOCKOUT PHASE

- When there are only only 32 SURVIVORS remaining, points are DISCARDED and............we enter the KO PHASE of the Tourney!
- If we move to the KO phase with less than 32 Players, Points will continue to decide who get's Byes in the following Round.
- Points accumulation will be 1 Point for a 1 Match Victory (3-2, 4-3, etc) and 2 Poins for a larger victory (4-1 or 5-0, 5-2 or 6-1 or 7-0, etc)

- 2 Games on your HOME MAP.
- You accept Game Invites Last - Can move immediatly taking full advantage of your opponent not getting any snaps!

AWAY MAP:
- 2 Games on your OPPONENTS HOME MAP.

- Settings: Auto, Seq, Esc, Chained, Foggy, No Round Limit.

RANDOM MAP:
- A Game on a RANDOM MAP (randomly selected each Round from the Maps that are not BANNED).
- It will be SUNNY so both Players will be invited at the same time.
- Settings: Auto, Seq, Esc, Chained, Sunny, No Round Limit.

QUARTER and SEMI FINALS

HOME MAP
- 3 Games on your HOME MAP.
- You accept Game Invites Last - Can move immediatly taking full advantage of your opponent not getting any snaps!
- Settings: Auto, Seq, Esc, Chained, Foggy, No Round Limit.

AWAY MAP:
- 3 Games on your OPPONENTS HOME MAP.
- You accept Game Invites First - Your Opponent can move immediatly taking full advantage of you not getting a Snap!

RANDOM MAP:

FINAL and 3rd/4th PLACE PLAY OFF

**Commentary will be made on the Tournament. So you will receive CC Mails containing the HIGHLIGHTS and COMMENTARY. You will continue to receive the HIGHLIGHTS MAILS even if you have been KO'd from the Tourney.
***If you do not want to recieve Commentary mails Our preferred choice is you:
- Filter Out Commentary Mails.
- Delete them.
- Ignore them.
- Play the Tournament as described.
- Do not Enter the Tournament.
****After that EXPLICIT Warning, if you still want to Enter, Post on the Tournament Forum with your entry that you do not want Mails and EVERY EFFORT will be made to accomodate your request........We promise not to mail you by mistake on purpose and start CC WAR II
*****The speed of this Tournament will Progress at the speed of the Many, not the few. If it becomes clear that there are a couple of games/players slowing down the progress of the Tournament. Organisers retain the right to predict the outcome of there remaining games to allow the next Round to progress. Predicted Scores will be final. This will only be used when absolutely required. 300 Players will not continuously await the outcome of 1 players games.

BoBSL: Sep-Poll & Finals

Well Troops, the Final and 3rd Place Play Off is well under way! And It's close!

3rd Placed Play Off have not completed a Game Yet. But, in the Final, It's Tviorr 'The Tiddler' who has struck 1st, taking a 3-1 lead over molespe 'The Templar of Doom'. So at 1st glance, Tviorr has a commanding lead but.........molespe is either level in the rest or has a small lead. So this Final, looks like it's going down to the Wire! For next Seasons CUP, there are changes afoot. But the biggest change of all is going to a Sep-Poll!

SEP-POLL: The Organisers are agreed that Chained does not offer as much complexity as Adjacent. So the FORT settings will change to mirror The Super League. What there is a dis-agreement on is the SPOILS. Should The CUP change to the exact same settings as Super League (Flat Rate) or stick with the Escalating Cards?

Which SPOILS setting should be used?

- Flat Rate

- Escalating

Escalating is more predictable. Flat Rate offer the player going 2nd more opportunity to come back. It's your Call Troops, VOTE AWAY.
