Hello everyone,
This is a blind companion tournament for the February 2023 Monthly Challenge. That means you will be signing up without knowledge of the map. This tournament will be played on the map and settings needed to receive the gold tokens.
We are looking for 18 players to play 15 games over the month of February. Three games will be sent once per week.
Players with priority get in first regardless of when they post to join. You receive priority by signing up for the previous month's challenge BEFORE the sign-up deadline and not getting in.
Challonge.com Standings
Schedule
February 2nd - 3 games
February 8th - 3 games
February 14th - 3 games
February 20th - 3 games
February 26th - 3 games
Note : Instead of usual 2 months period for game completion, this time players will get 3 months and wins will drop tokens until CC Time: 2023-April-30 23:59:59.
Settings
Map: A large sized, complex map
Players Per Game: 6
Game Type: Terminator
Initial Troops: Automatic
Play Order: Sequential
Spoils: Flat Rate
Reinforcements: Chained
FOG: No
TRENCH: No
Round Limit: 20
Round Length: 24 Hours
Rules
Each round of games will be filled randomly, using random. org. Whomever has the best record over 15 games, wins. In the event of a tie, tiebreaker game(s) on the same map and settings (except will be Poly 3 instead of Multiplayer) will be sent until players are no longer tied. For example, if two players tie, one game will be made and the winner will also win the tournament. If three players tie, three games will be made (A vs B; B vs C; A vs C) and the winner of two games will win the tournament. If four players tie, six games will be made (A vs B; A vs C; A vs D; B vs C; B vs D; C vs D) and hopefully just one player wins all three of their games and we can end this craziness!
If five or more people tie, I'll just quit the site and let someone else deal.
Tie-breaker games will likely not be started in February and therefore will likely not count towards the February Challenge scoreboard.
If you quit the tournament you are not eligible to get a medal for the February Monthly Challenge or Challenge Dome points for February!
Signups end at 23:59 CCT on January 30th!
Multiple iterations of the tournament will be run if filled. Keep signing up until the deadline!
