Welcome to the 2023 season of the New Nations League! Hope this tournament ends up being as interesting as the last one. This tournament will be played only on the New World map. New Nations League 2021/22 results
The competition will consist of 18 players divided between 3 divisions: Europe, North America, South America + Caribbean.
Every player must choose one nation to represent.
Europe:Portugal (ncardoso), Spain (molespe), France (CjDaGreat), Britain (thegroover), Holland (Wizz00), Norway (Ertai); North America: Inuit, Comanche (Chewie1), Aztec (Kotaro), Thirteen Colonies (ESQuire), New France (Huyuk), Vinland (RicardoCortinez); South America + Caribbean:Brazil (traffic133), Mapuche (mudfighter), New Holland, Cuba (SNARF17WD), Jamaica (actorday), Santo Domingo.
Tournament structure Week 1-5: The divisions will be ignored and the players will play five rounds in Swiss format (explanation below). Each round consists of three matches, therefore the results can only be 3-0, 2-1, 1-2, or 0-3.
Week 6-10: Points from the five first weeks carry on to this stage of the tournament. Now the players will only play against their own division opponents. Each round consists of three matches as well;
Post-season Playoff: Wildcard Round 1, Wildcard Round 2, Semi Finals, Final. Winner of each division qualify directly for the Semis; the 2nd placed in each division + the next best player of the overall table qualify for the Wildcard round 1. The two winners of the Wildcard Round 1 advance for the Wildcard Round 2. The remaining player advances to the Semis where he will face one of the divisional winners. Every match in the Post-Season Playoff is composed of 7 games, NBA-style.

Seeding Week 1 round will be randomly seeded with Random.org and Week 6-10 rounds will be randomly seeded with leaguelobster.com. Post-season Wildcard 1st Round and the Semi Finals will also be randomly seeded using Random.org.
Non-premium players can enter, but they have to leave three slots open for this tournament.
Tie-breakers If there are two players tied for a qualifying spot at the end of the 10 rounds, a tiebreaker game will be played. If more than two players are tied for that spot, the winner gets the higher place, the last to lose will get the second highest, and so on.
