Hello! This is my first tournament and thus, I have set the theme to my wonderful username and made it completely bonkers. It's a bit of a funky tournament so hang in there while I explain. The first two rounds will be a best of 3 with one game each for the settings below. If you should sweep your opponent, you move on to the next round. However, if you win 2-1, your opponent will have an opportunity to "kick you in the nuts" and steal the round. As the "winner", you'll be choosing the map and one of the three tournament settings for a death match. If you should win the death game, you'll move on. If your opponent steals the game on your map and settings, they will move on. In round 3, it will be a best of 5 where again, if you should sweep OR win 4-1, you'll move on but if you win the round 3-2, you'll be back in the death match with your opponent, where you will again choose the map and one of the settings below.
If you should survive all of this chaos and manage to claw your way into the finals, you'll be playing a best of seven series with another little twist. I'll be pulling your maprank and you'll be playing 3 matches on your three maps with the lowest win % on which you have played a minimum of 5 games, 3 matches on your opponents three maps with their lowest win % on which they have played a minimum of five game and one random map. Two each of the settings below and the one extra will be flat rate, fog, trench, sequential. If there are more than three maps that are tied for your lowest win %, I'll be using a list randomizer and taking the top three that it spits out. Feel free to ask questions as this all may be a bit confusing.
Setup is as follows:
+ All games will be Polymorphic 4
+ All games will be played on a Random map until the finals (unless it's a "crotch kick" game)
+ All games will be 20 rounds
+ This will be a seeded tournament based on your score AT THE TIME THE TOURNAMENT STARTS
+ Round 1 and 2 will be a three game series with one of each of the following, Round 3 will be a best of 5 and the Finals will be best of 7:
1. Flat Rate, Fog, Trench, Chained (x2 for Round 3, x3 for finals)
2. No Spoils, Fog, Trench, Chained (x2 for round 3 and finals)
3. Nuclear, Fog, Trench, Parachute (x2 for Finals)
