To only let the best and brightest compete, of course there are tournament requirements. There are two different ways to join this free tournament:
Be one of the top 8 teams who sign up that have won at least three doubles tournaments.
OR
Freemiums may join and play round 1, but premium must be purchased in order to advance past round 1.
You must have won at 20 doubles games with your partner.
This is not first come first serve. Ties will be broken by player score when sign ups end on January 30.

How is it determined that we are one of the "top 8 teams" (having won 3 doubles tournament ) ??
If I am not one of the top 8 teams, I can still be selected if I won at least 20 double games with my partner but then base on my score ? Right ?
Just a thought, I think it's relatively unfair to select based on score, since it's a double tournament, shouldn't it be select base on double's score or win% percentage of team rather than score?
