This is open to all players as there will be only 1 game played at a time. This is the 4th installment of this tournament. There will be a total of 16 players. You will randomly be assigned a spot 1-16 on the ladder. You will play 1vs1 match against the person at your rung. (1v2, 3vs4 etc...) If you win you move up, lose you move down. After every 2 rounds the bottom 2 people will fall off and be eliminated. There will be 14 rounds played then the final 2 people will play a best of 3 to determine the winner. Deadbeating or no show will result in being placed at the bottom and kicked out. You will play anywhere from 2-17 total games depending on how well you perform and where you start on the ladder.
