my god damed christmas tree fell over( 8 foot tree) and then my power goes out causeing me to lose a poker turney online that i was clearly going to win.

so i came in 17th insted of 1st 17th pays 45$

1st paid 2850$

Poker's not gambling when you play it right. If you play it right then it's more like a game of bluffing. You can win or lose a game on how you bluff. You can't do that with real gambling because gambling is all luck.

17th, you can never be sure of winning from there. And with your alliance making skills you would have wanted to chop at 14th place anyway.

Who puts up a tree and does not tie it off with some sort of fall protection? Hmmm lets see...

8 foot tree... weighing about 40 or more pounds... Having a relitively high center of gravity... Balanced on what a 4 or 5 inch bole... held buy 3 machine screws... in a, perhaps, 2 or 3 foot base... adorned by more weight in trim and lights???

And you think it was somebody or something like a god that tipped it over???

No it was something called gravity that caused it and stupidity that allowed it!

But look on the bright side... Now you can assure yourself that you would have won that tourney instead of what really would have happened! Also it happened while you were there so the house did not burn down. Actually I would say you WERE lucky!

AH! imperial crap! let's see, so that's weighing... 88 or more kilograms with a... 10-12 1/2 centimetre bowl and a... 60-90 centimetre base!
