Should the US and Iran talk

Should the US just bite the bullet and talk directly to Iran about all outstanding issues with no pre-conditions?

Personally I think it's long overdue.

They'll have to, there's no other viable choice.

Negotiating with Iran about its nuclear program is fine by me, but am against having Iran be part of the solution to Iraq. If Iran gains power and influence in Iraq, it will cause more problems in the War of 2036. I would not mind if we seperated Iraq into three different countries(Kurdistan, Sunni Iraq, and Shiite Iraq) though, that would make the War of 2036 easier, and could possibly calm some of the sectarian tensions(especially in the Iraqi government).

probably just another 1 of his insane theories. I say that we do something more on the worldwide level. Have every country cut down on their nukes in exchange for us cutting down on ours. Maybe even have a group mixed of several countries make sure that this actually happens.

When the President talks... stupid things come out of his mouth. He can't help it.

He's probably a follower of Nostradomus. The thing with prophecies is they don't have to happen, they're just possibilities. Reading them is interesting but I wouldn't lose any sleep over them.

I hate how some people follow nostro. I just don't think he had any psychic powers that allowed him to read the future, especially since he's been wrong in the past.

And how new verses appear to account for recent events such as what happened after 9/11.

It wasn't completely unfounded, I read a 1970's edition(I forget the exact year) where the author thought the Soviet Union would launch a missile on New York. It can also be interpreted as an aircraft because if his visions were true then Nostradomus would have just seen some airborne object and not known what it was. Pretty interesting but again wasn't able to be correctly interpreted before the act.

First of all, the prophecy of the War of 2036 is not from Nostrodamus(as far as I know). I haven't read any of these prophecies from Nostodamus.
Second of all, the War of 2036 is not definately going to occur, but is likely. So if it does occur then I can say "I told ya so" and if it doesn't happen then I can say that I never said it was definately going to happen.
The reason I do not fully believe it, along with the Comet of 2012, is because of religious reasons. But I can still warn people about them. If you wish to know where the prophetic theories are from, pm me and I will consider telling you where I got them, or I might just tell you more about them.

The Mayan calendar did play a role, along with other sources, with the theory of the Comet of 2012. The exact day, as described from the theory is somewhere from Dec 21-23.

It was a just a stupid joke. I make alot of them. They aren't that funny but they lighten up the atmosphere on the more dreary threads.
