Weird - I'm drinking some now - Jacob's Creek Shiraz, but it's the first I've drunk for 5 years at least. I dunno why I don't drink it more often.

Favourites - white wine, bitter & at least 40 cups of tea a week (decaf heaped teaspoon & milk.) Only reason why I don't drink more Guinness is because it plays havoc with me guts.

Energy drink? Why are Lucozade and Red Bull so popular? Never understood it myself.

A simple beer drinker here. In order, my preferences are:

1) Newcastle Brown Ale
2) Guinness Draft (not Stout)
3) Abita Beer Turbo Dog (microbrewery in Abita Springs, Louisiana)
4) Abita Beer (any other except for Purple Haze)
5) Red Stripe (hooray beer)

I refuse to drink anything with "Lite" as a part of its name.

For non-alcoholic beverages:
1) Coffee (dark roast, black, no milk or sugar)
2) Coca-Cola (not Pepsi)
3) plain water

Fill a glass about 2 inches high with red bull (or any energy drink) and fill a shot glass with Jagermeifter. Drop the shot in the larger glass and viola - Jagerbomb. Pretty simple shot.

Of course! Newcastle is my all-time favorite commercial beer.

Abso-freakin'-lutely. It runs a few dollars higher per six-pack than the standard domestic beer but life's too short to drink cheap beer.

Cheers!

Do you like cream ales DD? You should try a tetley's if you can get it there. And of course Killkenny Irish Cream Ale. Tasty stuff.

I prefer the darker ales. Are cream ales similar to pale ales? Haven't run across those brands but will be on a lookout for them. Thanks for the heads up.

Being in Texas I love tequila. The best I have found is Corralejo. Much smoother and better tasting than Patron. Around the same price to.

Why not just drink water & kerosene? Regardless...enjoy your freshman year.

I agree...Corralejo is excellent Tequila. Patron is drastically overpriced...you are paying for a hand-blown bottle & big fancy cork. Sauza Tres Generation is another excellent Tequila that isnt over-priced.

...and whats "tipple"?

A few pints of Guinness turns mine black. I know I will regret posting this in the morning.
