anyone use opera as their browser?

Its pretty kick ass.. as is firefox.. it has a built in bittorrent player apparently..


it also lets you do some trippy things

or you can put it into nostalgia mode where it does an 8 bit version.

also I'm sure you can i'm just not smart does anyone know how I can get greasemonkey working on it.

Well, Greasemonkey is a Firefox add-on, so you'd have to look at Opera's add-ons to see if there's a similar extension for it. I stopped using Opera when it decided it was going to open every link and every bookmark clicked in a new tab, regardless of what I'd told it to beforehand.

Well it has a .js file reader which is what greasemonkey does.. but every tie I install a javascript it doesnt do that...

I like that which makes opera fine on that with me.

That's because it's just a reader, it lets you look at the code while greasemonkey alters Firefox itself to apply the code to wherever it gets applied to.

Check if Opera has any add-ons that work like greasemonkey, or better yet try googling "Greasemonkey for Opera"

Change the extension on the file from ".js" to ".user.js"

already done.. and the error console wont quit popping up about some lighthouse stylesheet lack used.. Its annoying as hell.

I used to use opera for a long time but since firefox2 came out I've made the switch. Made sense because we use firefox at work too. The spell check feature in firefox is the best thing in a internet browser ever. It's better than the microsoft word spell check and you don't need to press anything to ask it to check the spelling.

I wish troy's greasemonkey was compatible with opera.. it still doesnt work.... all my other greasemonkeys however do.
