I'm probably not going to get a good answer from this, but here goes

This one jerk on the cross country team (whose lousy backside I kicked in a race today ^_^ ) has recently asserted that I have no life. He presented the following reasons:

1) I'm in honors classes

2) I'm enthusiastic about cross country

3) I have a job

4) I have school spirit

5) I watch what I eat during cross country season

6) I disapproved of a team outing to Hooters

7) I listen to classic rock

8 ) I go to church

9) I don't masturbate

and

10) I sing at mass

Based on the above, do you agree or disagree with his assertion?

Apart from points 7) to 10) (and possibly 6) - I don't know what a Hooters is), it sounds fine to me, so pull yourself together. Point 4) is especially good, but I recommend you don't drink it until you've done your final exams, and not on a regular basis either.

CC is all you need to have a life.

I should also say, point 9) could be positively harmful man, so if you ever feel the need, and no-one is in the vicinity, wank away, my son, wank away.

Point 7 saved you from not having a life. Classic rock is great.

I can't say, because I currently have no life.

This prevents me from having any insight as to your enemy's case.

i wish i knew what "having a life" means.

i consider having a life doing what you want to do and focusing on it and liking what you do.
my friends say i have no life because i spend long amounts of time making great pieces of artwork. when i ask them why i have no life, they say that i have way too much freetime, which also makes me want to know what freetime is.

so by what my friends are saying, having no life means having too much freetime. but what is freetime?

and if you like what you are doing, why does it even matter what others think (as long as what you are doing is legal)???

But the real reason you have no life is that you're posting it on a CC forum.

The clincher is that you didn't mention the opposite sex at all.

You have truly never experienced life until you know the pain and misery that relationships with the opposite sex can bring you...

My friend is in the cross country team, the best in dorset. He is one of the most popular kids in our school, so that has nothing to do with it, i think going around saying you dont like to wank has something to do with it, im sure if i done that people would look at me weird lmao!!, just dont let all your REALLY personal issues out and im sure you'll be fine, and posting some of your issus on here wasetn the brightest idea either

Did you not read my previous post on the topic? They asked, and I answered honestly. I don't walk around the school putting my sexual habits on a billboard.

Furthermore, I dont see the problem with posting about it here considering that most of you should be mature enough to handle it, and more importantly, I'm never going to get the pleasure of any of your acquaintances at any point in my life.

I will try to make an effort to not pick on you. Your life sounds pretty sad and if you had friends you could have asked them instead of making this thread.

Conversley if you had real life friends you'd be too busy doing things to notice that other poor guy that has a crush on you and needs to tell you you have no life to have an excuse to talk to you.

Sorry you have a job. I have one of those right now too and they sure take up a lot of time I could use for the interweb and that thing you don't do.

Sorry to post off-topickly, but I don't understand the association of cross-country with nerdishness by the Americans on this thread. Isn't cross-country where you have to run long distances over varying terrain? Or does cross-country mean something different over there?

i voted you had no life but you can change that yourself and get one i`m guessing your around about 16 or 17 i maybe wrong but by that age i was drinking in pubs and night clubs trying to cop off with some girls some times it worked sometimes it did not.
1. it`s not a bad thing your in the top classes. 2.it`s not a bad thing about athletics. 3.people need jobs that is good. 4.not to sure about school spirit unless it`s going to fight another school in the same area thats ok. 5.being healthy is good. 6.if hooters is a place where the females get their tits out i think your missing a good thing there unless your queer which has it`s own problems at that age but not necessarily a bad thing. 7.see this is where your going wrong indie music is far superior. 8.well you americans like that sort of thing me the only church i use to go to was the church pub. 9.wanking is natural for someone your age try it you might like it. i don`t need to now because i am happily married. 10.a choir boy watch out for them preist he will be trying to get you to suck his knob if there anything to go by the irish catholic ones there on news quite regular.

ok, for going to church eh just a bit, umm masturbation ehh can swing either way, either you dont have a life because your honestly never finding yourself horny or you already got a girl and your to busy with her, i listen to classic rock there is nothing wrong with it, singing at mass... yes yes you have no life for that reason... um since you dont approve of hooters im gonna say you have no life not to mention you see a lil bit fruity, along with the zero masturbation and singing in mass your seeming a lot of fruityness... honors class just means your smart, a job just means your responsible enough to get money for the shit you wanna do annnddd umm you enjoy doing that sport, and that also solves the whole fact that you do watch what you eat during the season, if you enjoy something you gotta take care of yourself so you can keep doing it... school spirit, i never had it but i know those who do, i also know that it gets annoying for people who dont have it to be around that do..

1, Being in honours class is fine, provided you don't spend much time studying/working. (Spending lots of time studying=having no life)

2, Whatever about cross country, provided you're not too enthusiastic. I mean sure have fun, but it doesn't really matter you know.

3, Quit your job now, jobs suck your soul and are unecessary when still in school.

4, School spirit is where you lose it for me. School spirit sounds powerful lame... put your focus towards something more worthwhile.

5, Watching what you eat also=teh lame. Self control is good, but for something like cross country, that's lame.

6, I can pass

7, I can pass

8, whatever, though you really should put some thought into that one.

9, Fair enough

10, this one's really not gonna make yourself popular. Whatever you're into, being popular hasn't much to do with having a life. Anyway you should once again wonder why you're doing it.
