NLCS TIED UP AGAIN! (3-3)

Was there ever any doubt? Game one boiled down to one swing of the bat, Carlos Beltran's homer. That coupled with great pitching (9 shutout innings) and great defense (did you see Chavez dive for that ball? Beltran come up throwing to get Pujols at first base?) Masterful!!!!!

And with all the Mets injuries they are still doing what needs to be done to win!

The game was great. Biggest Shea crowd ever. I sat in the second to last row last night, and, the only good thing I can say about the seat was that I didn't get wet!

The energy was awesome, and they played terrific defense.

CARLOS MVP!!!!!

(P.S. Poo-jols stink)

You forget, the Mets have a better record on the road.

Mets take 2 of 3 in St Louis.

this just in, officials find out that everyone involved in the playoffs including eliminated teams had been poisoning the Braves and by disqualification on all other parts. Braves have been announced as the winners of the world series.

What? can't a guy dream?

Well, the Cards used their best pitcher last night, and now, they don't have much left. This is the first game in the post season the Mets have lost.

Mets in 6.

but the mets pitching is not gonna be great tonight either considering the pitch count of last night's game.... the mets threw over double the number of pitches than the cardinals did last night, so the mets arms should be fairly sore and tired.....i'm reday for the cardinals victory tonight starting at 6:05 my time i think...this is the year of the cardinals, they'll win the world series in their brand new stadium...i went to a game in st. luois back in april, it's a nice up-grade from the old busch stadium....

Hmmm kinda like the Cards in Game one against Glavine.

Glavine's too old and he pitched too hard in that first game. I don't think he'll have that kind of luck in the second. Could be wrong but that's my opinion.

yeah but stache hag stated that after we used carpinter we had no other good pitchers left...but obviously stache hag was incorrect....and yes if Glavine pitches again any time soon, he's not going to be that great...

Game 4 METS WIN!!!! 12-5 :P

I said that they didn't have much left. As was said on ESPN the other day. The Mets don't have much pitching left either, outside of their bullpen, with 2 top starters out.... but they'll still take the series.

Whichever team limps into the win, they are nothing but fodder for the Tigers. It will be nice for them to win a panant I spose, you know, so history will remember that they were an also ran....

The Tigers do present much bigger a challenge to the Mets than the Cards.....

Game 5 postponed due to rain. Glavine will be fully rested. :P It's over St. Louis! And what's up with that guy with the strip of hair on his chin that has been dyed RED? Does he think he's actually a Cardinal? lol
