Hey Mr Bush.
A member state of the axis of evil has just exploded a nuclear bomb (Which I'm lead to believe is a weapon of mass destruction)
no more hunting for Osma in a massive country, no more hunting for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, - Just invade N Korea today and sort them out....
Oh! - I forgot, No Oil ! ! ! !.
Never mind - just get the UN to sort this one out eh? Impose further sanctions on an already starving country. That should do it!

First of all the test hasn't been confirmed. Second of all, as long as you lefties keep up the war for OIL propaganda the more you undermine the effort to keep the USA and the world safe.
Now if the test is confirmed, the world should take whatever means nessissary to render N. Korea's nuke program null and void. If that means invasion, then thats what it means. Kim is a madman and the world is unsafe with a nuke in his possesion. (now if the left could see this instead of focusing on their hatred for Bush we might make progress)
Note to all US citizens of voting age: The Democrats are running on solely "we hate Bush", they have no plan, they have no agenda other than to regain power in govornment. Hate doesn't win elections... remember that when you go to the polls.

being someone who watches politics very closely. I have a hard time beleiving anyone has a plan about anything.
the entire game of politics, on BOTH sides, seems to be more about how many dollars a specific politician can have in his retirement account at the end of the day, then it is about supporting and protecting the nation in which we live.
I love my country, but I hate my government. and in all my life, I have never seen a politician that I really WANTED to vote for. there have been a whole lot I wanted to vato against, but none I wanted to vote for.
and before someone labels me a liberal bandy, I voted for bush both times. he was the lesser of many evils.

Me too, I really don't like Bush that much but the alternatives would have been disasterous.

There are some facts here Jay.
1) The US Geological Survey (the godless liberals who would challenge your claim that earthquakes have become more frequent recently) and the South Koreans detected an underground event of appropriate magnitiude in North Korea yesterday
2) We all know Kim Jong Il has been building a bomb
You can't argue that Dubya isn't solely concerned with the middle east. Do you think Iran would have gotten away with a nuclear test? IMO Itraq (and the forthcoming sequel) is a crusade for him, not an oil grab. As soon as Israel has wiped out her neighbhours Jesus is coming back, right? i feel a whole lot safer.
Kim is a madman and the world is unsafe with a nuke in his possesion. (now if the left could see this instead of focusing on their hatred for Bush we might make progress)
Yes he is and he makes the world a more dangerous place. Why on earth would being leftwing and anti-Bush blindfold anyone to those facts? Do you really honestly think that? Or did your knee just jerk?
Hate doesn't win elections... remember that when you go to the polls.
No. What wins US elections these days is a lot of hallelujah happy clappy bullshit and an erosion of the separation of church and state on which your country was founded. These are bleak times.

i say screw iraq, let's go to n. korea, before commie scum takes over the world!!!!! we can always just blow iraq up, since they dont have any WMDs. but, N. Korea's going to be harder.

US isn't going into N Korea. They already have a big enough problem in Iraq, and Afghanistan isn't doing much better. They can't realisticly keep peace in two countries AND invade another.
The UN, if you remember, is right now in the process of putting peacekeepers in Lebanon. The last thing they want to do is give up MORE peacekeepers to invade another country.
Lastly, many countries (secretly) feel N Korea's pain. Most of the countries against N Korea having nuclear weapons have WMD themselves. The countries without WMD know that all N Korea wants to do is have power in the world, and it seems WMD is the only way to do it. Many countries don't want an invasion, because if they invade N Korea then if they developed these WMD then they would by default be invaded too.
Lastly, the dictator won't care what sanctions are put on his country. He doesn't care about his people. He cares for power, so there is very little the international community can do to stop him.

The N. Korean dictator is too crazy to leave alone. he hates the US, andit shows. i'm more scared of him than all the terrorists in the world, combined. i say we just move our troops from Iraq to Korea. iraq can figure out its own problems, we have our own now.

The only problem is there are too many people angry with America in Iraq. If you pull out now, people are going to think you abandoned them to a mess and will want you get revenge against you. You will just be breeding a whole new generation of terrorists. That's why they are still in Iraq.

the real problem or kim having nukes is that he is likely to give them away. anybody goes to him and says hey, we wont tell anyone where it came from, and were gonna use it on la, or miami, or chicago or something. he would gladly give it to them knowing he would get done what hed wanted done without having to deal with the backlash from his actions.
we all know there are plenty of people around the world who would take him up on this offer.
I think this makes him much more dangerous than alot of other people around the world.

that's what im talking about! what would almost everyone like? to see the US get totaled. im very scared of the accesibility of WMDs. "hey, Osama, would you like a WMD?" "Sure, im going to blow up America" "ok"

Nah. If you have a millon dollars, you wouldn't give it to someone to buy you a new car. You want to be the one who buys it! Either that, or you want to use your money to get more money!

but what if you knew the gang down the street would kill you and your family if you bought the car. but if you gave the money to someone else to buy the car, they would do what you want with it and you would get the same benifit from having the car without the risks.
starts to sound like a good idea.

That country was founded by church going free masons as most of the presidents have been since.
Most of the laws there were based loosly on biblical laws.

So? We went into Iraq because of the possibility of their ability to attack us, why is N. Korea different? Oh, right, because they have the nukes and because we'd all be dead (since KJI is just crazy enough to use them if you believe the fearmongering nutbars on the blogs and the Fox "News").
Well, technically he's only got what... 1500 more tests to go and then he'll match our nuclear juggernautiness? I mean, we've got more nukes then the rest of the world. What are we afraid of? Ever hear of MAD? The thing that kept the USSR from attacking us during the Cold War? That applies here too. KJI likes his life and his ego far too much to invite certain screamy death upon himself. Meh, N. Korea's just the newest member of the most prestigious club in the world, the Nuclear Club.
Note to all US citizens of voting age: The Democrats are running on solely "we hate Bush", they have no plan, they have no agenda other than to regain power in govornment. Hate doesn't win elections... remember that when you go to the polls.
You set up a nice little picture of how things used to be, paint up a little cartoon reason as to why things aren't that way anymore, and then you promise to restore the good old days (hence the term GOP, "Grand Old Party").
That's how you win elections.

2Dimes you're a bit closer and I don;t pretend to be a student of US history, but i'm pretty sure that the separation of church and state was a vital part of the original US constitution. They might have been churchgoers but the idea was to give everyone equal freedom of religious practice, i.e. not to set up either a theocracy or a state religion. Biblical laws don;t have to be about worship - do'nt kill, don't steal, be nice to your neighbour etc. All good stuff. Only now the country is full of people lik eJay, who want christian pseudoscience taught in every classroom and a copy of the ten commandments on every blackboard. Like i said, bleak times.
