The child should be allowed to just be a child.

How about you just raise him to be a good person and let him/her come to his own conclusions about religion later on in life?

:| I find zero humor in the abortion jokes.

The child should be exposed to both religions as equally as possible.Being mormon requires a certain lifestyle that the child should be taught but allowed to bend in the case that he/she doesn't choose that religion.

Mormons. I can't understand them.

I agree with cahoots....tasteless.

The child should be exposed to both, but not pressured for either. When he/she is old enough to decide on their own, then encourage and respect their choice.

I mean, I don't have anything against them but I look at what I know about them and I just don't get it.

dont do anything forced religion is why i loved all them cathloic girls ;).. they were fun and always looking to rebel.. never force any religion on your child.. when they are old enough they "will" make a choice and weather you like it or not "they" decide if its the right one.. not parents.. to force into religion is to push them from it in my experience. let them learn there own path

All good suggestions, thank you...I do have to admit though, that the abortion jokes are a bit funny...dark humor and all.

As for not getting Mormons, Strike. Basically they believe that jesus came to the Americas after his resurrection. Some say that they're a cult, since no proof of this has ever surfaced. I hold some Mormon beliefs still, like I don't have a cross in the house or wear one.
