My new physician has purple hair

Postby Lonous on Wed Jul 10, 2024 9:59 am

My longtime family doctor just retired.
Its a small practice with a handful of MDs
They just brought in a new woman to replace the one that is retiring.
She is fresh out of medical school and has her hair dyed purple.

I want to form a negative opinion of her immediately because of that, but she is smoking hot.

I am practicing my 'turn your head and cough' procedures, for I am positive the next time I get my blood pressure checked she will also want to check my groin.

i would get rid of her ass no matter what a smokeshow she was

a. the hair color is warning sign #1
b. she's a woman -- i'm not a misogynist, i support the wnba, but everyone knows they're too emotional for serious jobs like doctor
c. I read that a 3rd year doctor makes as few errors as a 30th year doctor, but in the first two years after medical school is where all the issues in misdiagnoses and treatment actually arise

Actually, I've read a couple of fairly reliable articles that say women are better doctors than men.

Men are dominated by ego, and far too often, when they don't know something, they're afraid to admit it, and will pretend they know exactly what the problem is. Consequently, a lot of bad treatment decisions are made by male doctors who simply can't admit they're in over their head on something.

Women are humble enough to admit it when they don't know what the problem is, and they'll ask questions and seek outside help until they figure it out.

clarification: by "don't actively oppose" I mean I think the WNBA should be abolished but the thought doesn't necessarily consume me

I've seen both over the years and don't have a preference, our pediatrician is a woman and I actually think that it's better this way than having a dude doctor.

If the hair bothers you that much, just turn off the lights, close your eyes, and let the journey begin!

Are we talking football or soccer? Because I wouldn't watch soccer if it was Perfect 10s playing completely naked.

'Soccer' is an abbreviation for 'association football', dinkwad.

Bit this is people playing sports in their underwear, it's clearly American.

Y'know, ...watch out there. The clothes, hair, chest constructions, genitals, and pronouns don't have to match up anymore.
A little creative, exploratory exam-room frolic could accidentally turn you into a polyamorous pansexual or something.
