I found a new pleasure.
I havent voted for most of my life (cause better things to do and i was never very political, thx the Donald) but i did the last 3 elections and just now, and i have to say it feels satisfying to be a responsible citizen. Esp when you can vote against some shit nazis.
I love it, even when the shit nazis will still win. But by one vote less.

I haven't missed an election in my life. And I live in frontier America where we have 2-3 elections every year, not low energy Austria where you sit around for ages sipping Franziskaner and reading Engels in a cafe staffed by Czech barista slaves while waiting for the Not Quite Attractive Enough to Be A Model Chancellor to ask the Former SS Captain Who Is Now President to dissolve parliament.

And now today they have a sister party with the AFD in Germany, which is even too nazi for the Front National. They want no piece of them and thats some achievement. lol
The german Verfassungsschutz is also very clear on that, right wing extremists (thats nazi, for the not so educated)
And ofc they share the same plattform and values: anti everything, very pro Putin, Trump loving, racist, homophobic, transphobic, mysogonistic, incompetent, corrupt, cruel, hypocritical, dumb and always the victim. The whole schabang.

And now theres a surprise. Theres a third faction which also shares the exact same plattform and values.

I don't vote in national elections. Unless you have proportional representation, which we don't here, then they're basically a propaganda exercise for the two ruling parties.

I do vote in referendums because they are straight vote tallies on specific issues. I also voted in London mayor elections when I lived there, which weren't clear single-issue votes but were at least also a straight numbers game.

Thats surprisingly partly true.
Just that last part is Saxi dumb again.
They are incompetent conservatives and basically moved as right as the freedom party. Thats why ppl prefer to vote the original nazis.

The ÖVP was, before Kurz took over on life support, then the messiah came and run a Trump like campaign to the right of everyone and with him in front and center.
And with him came a pack of the worst politicians we have ever seen.
But i have no doubt when the freedom party should get the chancellor next election, and it might well be, they will top that with ease.
