Capitalism. Not only has it made us wealthy, its given us the art form of commercials. A short burst of time to grab our attention, convince us we need something, and then make itself memorable. While not all commercials are worthy, some rise above the mundane and cause a smile, a laugh.
This thread seeks the above average. Whatever that means to you. What made you smile, laugh, reflect, etc. Give em up.

Jingle All the Way! Music is great, but wouldn't it be even more wonderful if we could be inspired to buy new, exciting, and innovative products while we listened to our favorite pop songs of yesteryear?
'Lemon Tree' by Peter, Paul, and Pledge In 1966, folk music was appreciated by people who also cared about furniture polish. In these divisive times we sometimes forget that.
'I Can See Clearly Now' by Johnny Nass Plus The glass cleaner preferred by 3 out of 4 lighthouse keepers. Suck it Windex.
'Do You Believe in Magic' by The Loving Dashful Don't confuse with Mrs. Dash/(now just) Dash Lemon Pepper Seasoning. Do not do this.
'Anticipation' by Ketchie Simon Heinz markets itself as being extra thick and a taking a long time to come. Note: Historians consider this to be the earliest recorded instance of Corey Feldman being publicly rebuked.
'Look What They've Done to My Song' by General Millsanie Safka The process of becoming a henpecking nagger begins in childhood. Also, note the unusual use of 'harangue' in an advertisement setting.

This is a radio commercial but there were a few TV commercials also featuring Mr. Delicious in the 1980s.
He overshared about his private life, he is divorced and his current wife is a terrible cook so he goes to a bar a lot. And he had a midlife crisis a while back and went to Bora-bora with a couple of young friends. His analyst thinks he has a lot of hostility which brightly colored fast-food places bring out.
A few people thought his commercials killed the chain.

What may have been the most brilliant political ad was simple.
In a tight Georgia runoff, one candidate bought 30 minutes right before election day to have a town hall loaded with prepared questions and his supporters.
His opponent bought a 30-second spot to run before the 30-minute ad. It was 30 seconds of the color bars and that annoying tone you might get if the station was off the air.
Many people tuned in and decided the station was off the air.

A local County Republican Party made their own low-budget political ad for their candidate for governor.
It was so bad Democrats tried to get permission to run it. A senior bad boys and girls biker group(?!) runs down the Democratic candidate.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer easily won the election.

Oh no!, common, hardworking people speaking there minds in this supposed democracy called the U.S.A. Obviously, the Foreign-aligned, Anti-patriotic Dems can't tolerate that.
Gary, I'm sure someone like you would much rather have political ads spoken by sophisticated, Hollywood-elitist, performer/manipulators: Hanoi Jane, for example... but some Americans actually do want to listen to the real Voice of the People.

See, now this an actual commercial. You correctly responded to my constructive criticism and mentoring and then made a positive change in your behavior, maybe for the first time in your life.
Now if you would only stop drinking the Biden Kool-aid. It's toxic. I mean, look at how his biological descendents turned out. One's a cancerous corpse... and the other is something far worse...
