Im actually standing up for the Eagles.
Posted: Mon Jan 15, 2007 3:35 pmNormally I couldn't care less about the Eagles other than hoping that their 1 win in a season comes against the Steelers (Not a pennsylvania fan), but I really think they are being a little harsh towards the Eagles' coach for not going for it on 4 & 15. They keep saying he should have gone for it because it would have been a touchdown. That is not guarranteed. They had to get 15 yards in one play a whole lot of disasters can happen in 15 yards. The quarterback could get sacked, it could get intercepted, a holding call, etc. Secondly, if he had gone for the 1st down and missed it, we would be just be hearing about how awful that call was.
