If graft and fraud are so apparent send the evidence to the 4 DAs and the Senate. You do have him on the ego though.

Prayed about the Supreme Court ruling on Monday. He showed healthy lungs. A good sign.

Then showed a sweet treat.

It is time for Biden to "ride off into the sunset...." He should not be re-elected President. PERIOD. I can give many reasons, but I will say that the Job of POTUS is too important and too difficult to put Biden back in Office.

He got there because:
1) he is not Trump and
2) Covid isolation allowed Biden to campaign on a very limited schedule and limited access to the Public for us to judge his physical and mental decline THEN in 2020.
3) Things have gotten WORSE for Biden, especially mentally, and
4) that mental decline was there FOR ALL TO SEE and hear during the Presidential Debate last week.
5) This does not get into ANY of his policies, many of which I find simply terrible. His handling of the Economy (INFLATION) and the Border are merely TWO of the many things I disagree with Biden about on the Policy front.

Now, to be fair, I do agree with many environmental policies that Biden has backed. (I do think his policies regarding petroleum have helped spur inflation, however.)

and more BAD News for and about Joe Biden:

The White House blamed a cold that had "started to hit his stride" for the 81-year-old's poor performance.

And while Mr Biden appeared to be much more reactive during his first rally speech right after the debate, doubts have remained over his ability to serve another four-year term.

Former White House deputy director of photography Chandler West is among those insisting that "it's time for Joe to go."

Writing on Instagram, Mr West said: "I know many of these people and how the White House operates.

"They will say he has a 'cold' or just experienced a 'bad night,' but for weeks and months, in private, they have all said what we saw last night - Joe is not as strong as he was just a couple of years ago."

Vice President Kamala Harris has also been challenged on whether the President's cognitive health has been declining but she completely sidestepped the question.

CNN host Anderson Cooper asked her right after the debate: "The person we saw tonight, the president we saw tonight on that stage: Is that how he is every day?"

To which Ms Harris replied: "The Joe Biden that I work with every day is someone who, as I have said, has performed in a way that has been about bringing people into the Oval Office, Republicans and Democrats, to compromise in a way that is extraordinary these days, because it just doesn't happen, but Joe Biden can make it happen."

And in another blow to the incumbent President, a CBS News/YouGov poll found that a majority of voters don't think Mr Biden is fit for office.

The survey of 1,130 registered voters found that 72% of respondents do not think he has the mental and cognitive health to serve compared to 65% before the debate.

Asked whether he should be running for president, 72% said he should not compared to 28 percent who insist he should.

The BIG LIE, especially for those who accuse Trump of LIES:

(and who is the REAL Danger to Democracy?)
They Lied to You | Opinion
Opinion by Josh Hammer

Lying is certainly nothing new in politics. It is said that prostitution is the world's oldest profession, but politics is assuredly the dirtiest—filthier even than garbageman, mortician or, well, the world's oldest profession itself.

Former President Bill Clinton (while we're on the topic of sexual promiscuity) perjured himself, leading to his impeachment. Former President Barack Obama, in what PolitiFact called its 2013 "Lie of the Year," promised that "if you like your health care plan, you can keep it." And on and on it goes.

The corporate media, whose 21st-century raison d'être is propping up the Regime Party (Democrats) and punishing the Deplorable Party (Republicans), often joins the fray. The Russia-collusion delusion disinformation operation was laundered by Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign to seedy "intelligence" firm Fusion GPS and law firm Perkins Coie LLP. For years, the corporate media then dutifully pushed the false narrative. Indeed, it is unclear to this day whether MSNBC has ever read the Mueller report.

But after last Thursday's CNN presidential debate in Atlanta, in which President Joe Biden delivered a catastrophic performance for the ages, there is only one conclusion: The years-long effort by Biden administration flunkies, Democratic Party poohbahs, and pro-Regime media stenographers to forcefully deny Biden's obvious physical and mental decline will go down as the single greatest lie in American history.

And what an assiduous effort it was. For years, Democrats and the corporate media lied through their teeth about the blatant decline of the president's physical and mental faculties.

When Biden fell off a stationary bicycle in 2022, handlers brushed it off as no big deal. When Biden started wearing funny-looking tennis sneakers instead of dress shoes, presumably in order to stabilize his gait and prevent debilitating falls, aides informed us that Biden was just embracing a certain sartorial savviness.

When former Special Counsel Robert Hur declined to pursue charges against Biden due to the fact he "would likely present himself to a jury ... as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory," media apparatchiks denounced Hur as a "Trump plant" in the Justice Department. (Where is Hur's apology?)

After multiple videos emerged of Biden freezing, staring, and wandering off, The New York Times called them "misleading"; the Biden White House dismissed them as "cheap fakes." The Wall Street Journal's recent story in which reporters interviewed 45 officials who expressed concern about Biden's senescence was excoriated as a "hit job."

All along the way, costly "gaffes"—such as Biden inadvertently calling for regime change in Moscow during a March 2022 visit to Warsaw—were simply chalked up to Uncle Joe being Uncle Joe. How dare you question hardscrabble Joe from Scranton: nothing to see here!

Anything—anything—to prevent the American people from learning the truth. Axios reported last Friday how "close aides have carefully shielded (Biden) from people inside and outside the White House since the beginning of his presidency." For Democrats and their media enablers, there can be no stone left unturned to protect their precious. The ends always justify the means, after all, just as Saul Alinsky taught.

The media's hubris in thinking it could get away with this is astounding. Biden is the president of the United States. His decline wasn't exactly a state secret, at least for anyone with functioning eyes and ears. This column two years ago, in lamenting Biden's "indications of a palpable senility," concluded that "[t]here is something very, very clearly wrong with the president of the United States."

Really, just how stupid do Democrats and the corporate media think we are? How long did they think they could get away with this gaslighting operation?

A Gallup poll last October revealed that 32% of Americans trust the corporate media either "a great deal" or "a fair amount." That seems far too high. These hacks deserve nothing but disgust and contempt.

Nor has the persistent media gaslighting for the past two to three years been a victimless crime. The collective victim is us: all of us. America is wildly insecure under the "leadership" of Biden. Xi Jinping is sure to move on Taiwan before year's end. Who knows what Xi's friends, from Pyongyang to Moscow to Tehran, might do. Who will stop them, after all?

The ultimate irony of it all? The massive lie and disinformation operation to obfuscate the president's decline has been perpetrated in the name of—you guessed it—"our democracy." The chutzpah!

"Democracy Dies in Darkness," reads The Washington Post's masthead slogan, conveniently adopted mere weeks after former President Donald Trump took office in 2017. Come again? We don't actually know who is running the country right now. It certainly isn't Uncle Joe. Now that is some serious "darkness."

Never forgive, and never forget, what these lying miscreants have done to us—and to the republic.

Even as members of his own party in Congress are now calling on him to quit, Biden is ignoring all pleas for reason and is vowing he's taking the Democratic Party straight off the cliff with him, Thelma and Louise style. He also continued to vow that he would never take the 20-minute cognitive test people are asking him to take, no matter what.

There's no way to forcibly remove Biden from the Democratic nomination and he refuses to quit voluntarily, even though everyone is asking him to. It's delicious!

The freakout inside the Democratic Party has continued to metastasize in recent days. Few Democratic strategists believe the president’s interview on Friday will stem the onrush of Democratic incumbents and candidates who will call for Biden’s ouster. Already, four members have said they believe Biden should step down as the nominee, and another two have said they don’t believe Biden can beat Trump. And when Congress reconvenes next week, many in the party are bracing for more defectors.

And many were shocked by the president’s blatant denial about his standing in the race, and his repeated dismissal of his party’s widespread concerns. It’s an approach some Democrats described as “dangerous.”

A defiant Biden held a campaign event in Wisconsin on Friday before recording the interview. He repeatedly said on Friday — at his event, on social media, during the interview and in fundraising emails — that he wasn’t dropping out of the race, and he used the ABC interview to dismiss his devastatingly low polling numbers and growing pleas for him to step aside.

“If the Lord Almighty came down and said, ‘Joe, get out of the race,’ I’d get out of the race,” Biden said. “The Lord Almighty’s not coming down.”

Biden’s repeated dismissals and refusal to seriously address concerns about his age and mental acuity struck many Democrats watching the interview closely. A Democratic official who worked on Biden’s 2020 campaign said it appears Biden’s team “isn’t being straight with him, and that’s dangerous.”

The big question is if Biden still has active gold codes.

When Nixon appeared depressed toward the end of his presidency, DEFSEC Schlesinger did not have the gold codes replaced in the emergency satchel when they expired, so that Nixon could not order a nuclear launch in a desperate bid to stay in power. Has Lloyd Austin secretly neutered Biden's ability to order use of strategic weapons?

I debated whether I need to answer p-rat's pathetic response, but let me do this:

Pack rat's idea of a discussion/debate: offer only his own opinion &
for refutation, thrown in a few personal attacks;
be sure to offer and cite no sources; Criticize those who do.

JP's ideas of a discussion/debate:
1) be informed on the topic (and read and research, as needed);
2) offer my own opinion and comments;
3) offer facts and ideas and opinions from others, most who know a signficant insight or amount on the topic to support my ideas;
4) support those facts and ideas and opinions by citing the sources;
5) offer refutation by using logic, perspicacious insights, and sources as well as informed ideas.

score:
p-rat = 1 point (only himself)
JP = 12,345 Points, which includes many insights and sources that he provides

For those who want a simple and cogent example, read and/or peruse my original post that I included here.

Oh, and note that p-rat thinks that using a SPOILER adds credence to his weak argument. :roll: Such tricks do not hide the lack of any real substance and any real intellect, p-rat.

Re: The 2024 Elections in the US, mostly Biden vs. Trump

The bad news for Biden gets worse:

‘We’re doomed’: Democratic lawmakers worry Biden’s interview won’t save his campaign

Rep. Angie Craig, D-Minn., became the latest Democrat to call for Biden to “step aside for the next generation of leadership.”

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden continued debate damage control during a Friday-night interview on ABC News, working to persuade Democrats that he’s the best candidate to defeat former President Donald Trump this fall.

But behind the scenes, the interview did little to quell fear from Hill Democrats who worry that Biden’s debate performance leaves his candidacy beyond repair.

And what about the US Senate?
Sen. Mark Warner works to gather Senate Democrats to ask Biden to exit race
There’s increasing sentiment among Democratic senators that President Biden cannot stay in the race.

Sen. Mark R. Warner (D-Va.) is attempting to assemble a group of Democratic senators to ask President Biden to exit the presidential race, according to two people with direct knowledge of the effort.

Warner is telling Democratic senators that Biden can no longer remain in the election in the wake of his faltering debate performance, according to the people familiar with private conversations who spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak freely. Warner has told others that he is deeply concerned that Biden is not able to run a campaign that could beat former president Donald Trump.

and more:
“Biden is a very decent human and a legendary leader in many ways. I have no doubt in his ability to make good decisions and finish out this term as POTUS,” said one House Democrat after Friday’s interview, granted anonymity to speak candidly. “But frankly, he’s just not up to simultaneously being POTUS and being a compelling reelection candidate. It’s too much for him, and while it’s obvious to pretty much everyone, he seems stubbornly blind to that reality.”

and to clarify:
You live and breathe in a small bubble of disinformation and alternative truths.

This describes the pack rat very well. Thanks to the guy who gave us this great line.

To comprehend these matters, all one has to do is to:
1) read above;
2) and/or, watch the News, from any source, except the left wing political wackos who live in a bubble and only listen to and offer fake news.
3) It is this simple.
4) Biden is too old, too feeble, suffers from mental and physical decline, is incompetent, AND is in DENIAL of ALL these perceptions.
5) I have cited polls documenting these issues, and I think Saxi has as well.
6) God needs to talk to Biden and tell him it is TIME to RETIRE. Biden has done enough damage.

Trump and you have something in common...narcissism.

Real Conservative Republican speaks about a newcomer to the GOP:

And the Democrats are holding their convention in Chicago. What is going on in that city?

Gun violence is down across America this year but it peaks every summer and Chicago’s Fourth of July weekend bore the data out, with 109 people shot, including 19 fatally, police said in a Monday news conference.

All of the victims were boys and men ranging in age from 16 to 36 years old, according to police records.

This year’s violent holiday weekend comes as the city and the nation have seen a drop in gun violence in recent years.

As of June 24, Chicago had seen 1,105 shooting incidents so far this year

What a great place to be in the summer: CHICAGO..!

I lived and worked in Chicago most of my life, not sure what point you are trying to make?

Are you just throwing shit up against the wall and see what sticks? Arguing for the sake of arguing? There is no longer any point of trying to debate a narcissist that is willing to drag someone down to a moronic level.

CBS News revealed today that the dying president met with a Parkinson's disease specialist multiple times. The White House, citing "national security," refused to comment on the prognosis or the dying president's hospice plans. Will, for instance, he retain nuclear command authority if he goes on morphine as part of end of life care?
