what? the mets had good pitchers...i guess that you hate john maine and glavine now and you can trade them to the cardinals...and just wait, you're under-rating the cardinals...AGAIN...

WHAT??? you gotta be kidding me! the Cardinals, Mets, and Tigers are all better than the A's...do you not remember that the A's got swept by the Tigers in the ALCS?(but of course the Tigers may have been cheating like in game 2 of the WS)

i agree that the cards are at least a decent team. if the A's had the money to retain players and te team grew up maybe 4 years, watch out. and i hope the cards win, cheating tiger bastards

sounds a little like the Braves. The Braves are spending so much money on Chipper Jones that we can't afford the same players as some other teams. It's the reason we lost Glavine, Maddux, Furcal, and more.

Mariners invested sooooooo much in players like Gil Meche and Jeremy Reed, and Ichiro, that we have no farm system (minor leagues) and no vets on our team. we'll never be good

Braves farm team has been the only thing that's kept them afloat in recent years.

Closers are the most important thing in the world for all the Braves teams right now. :?

Anyways back on topic. Cards took the lead 2-0. Now it's the top of the 5th.

I hope so. If they can keep the game within a point each time they have pretty good 9th inning rallies. Game 7 NLCS and Game 2 (despite loss) WS are examples where they were able to do alot in the 9th.

I hate to see it but it is obvious that the tigers are wrapped WAY to tight!
Ya gotta hand it to the Birds and their Mgr/coaching staff. They have played solid ball and taken advantage of the MANY stupid mistakes made by our kids (emphasis added).

I will not allow myself to say it is over yet but I can hear this huge woman making noises like she is being tourtured in a room right behind the stands...
