More interesting posts now with Democrats very enthusiastic about the race and all media eyes on Kamala Harris except for watching JD Vance putting both feet in his mouth. How many times can he do that?

Trump is very upset no attention is on him but he should be glad the media is ignoring his miraculously healed ear. Not a mark on it when he described it as shot off. The big donors are very unhappy as they see Trump blowing it.

MSNBC and CNN are about unwatchable due to their corporate masters and daytime hosts but this was interesting talking to MAGA women voters in a swing state and Trump leaning Independents.

Donald Trump is speaking today at the National Association of Black Journalists convention.

Kamala Harris was a no-show, saying she was too busy to bother showing up, despite the fact that - as Vice-President - her only job is to wait for Biden to die.

Momentum has clearly shifted.

Trump can't stand he is not getting much airtime, probably a good thing as he still has a lot of incoherently rambling and journalists are learning how to pin him down.

Latest:

Arizona: Harris 49% and Trump 47%
Georgia: Harris and Trump tied at 47%
Michigan: Harris 53% and Trump 42%
Nevada: Harris 47% and Trump 45%
North Carolina: Trump 48% and Harris 46%
Pennsylvania: Trump 50% and Harris 46%
Wisconsin: Harris 49% and Trump 47%

Correction: Megan Thee Stallion concert at which Kamala Harris made a speech. Kamala rallies typically get 300-400 attendees. The fact she suddenly, out of thin air, ballooned to 9,000 -- but it happened to coincide with a free concert given by a performer who usually charges $150/ticket -- is more explainable by simple supply and demand than it is by candidate enthusiasm.

Trump rallies get 9,000 routinely without handing out $150 in goods and services to get people to show-up.

A very informative question and answer period, where the candidate really got to clarify his position on some tough subjects like:

why are the illegals only stealing 'black jobs'?

at what age did does someone 'turn black' (from what i understand people rarely go back once they do)?

How much greater was the Trump presidency for black people than say... the administration of Johnson that pushed through the civil rights act?

Why did you pick a couch fucker for a VP? (candidate clarified VP 'doesn't really matter in an election', a strong endorsement of his choice)

Had Trump done this via Zoom like he indicated he would have preferred, one could have called it 'a perfect call' but alas it was in person because his campaign manager apparently is voting for Kamala this year.

Worst interview ever.

This further drives nails into the coffin of Trump's campaign.

Hard to say which was the worst racist answer as Trump kept getting gasps and laughter from the audience before his desperate campaign staff cut the black Journalists interview short.
.
I wish that had been televised all networks.

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/donald-trump-nabj-interview-wild-moments_n_66aa8a2ae4b050952a6f394d[

You may get some MAGAs trying to defend Trump's answers, like when did Kamala turn Black. She has always been a Black/Indian. She has a Black father and look at her pictures at Howard University.

Just amazing that Trump thought that this would be a good idea and that he could handle it.

A Harris Presidency Would Endanger Us All

Not that long ago, the idea of Kamala Harris becoming the next president of the United States seemed laughable, even delusional. But things have changed. Not only is she competing with and outperforming Donald Trump in some polls, but the vice president also has the backing of the Obamas.

On the contrary, Harris gives us all reason for concern.

First, her public image as an advocate for racial equality sharply contrasts with her track record, particularly on criminal justice issues. Her resistance to the early release of non-violent offenders—despite her supposed commitment to reform—reveals a disconnect between her rhetoric and her actions.

Not only is she disingenuous, Harris doesn't appear to take her role as vice president seriously. In 2020, she was tasked with managing the southern border. Admittedly, this is a challenging and often thankless role, particularly given the scale of what many consider the nation's largest crisis. However, it seems she has shown next to no actual interest in addressing the issue. As Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens recently noted, Harris has not reached out to him since his appointment in July 2023. Think about that for a second. While countless migrants were entering the country illegally, Harris couldn't even be bothered to make a phone call to Owens.

America First Legal, a nonprofit organization founded by Stephen Miller, who was a senior advisor to Donald Trump during his presidency, is currently conducting seven investigations into her tenure as California attorney general. During her time as AG, Harris actively obstructed the enforcement of federal immigration policies. She defended San Francisco's sanctuary-city ordinance and opposed California's participation in the Secure Communities program, which facilitated ICE in deporting illegals with criminal records from local communities. Additionally, America First Legal is investigating whether Harris deliberately ignored or concealed misconduct by prosecutors under her oversight, as well as potential wrongdoing by her close political aides.

But, wait, there's more.

A Harris presidency wouldn't just harm America; it would harm the world.

That's because her track record reveals a penchant for divisive politics and an unwavering commitment to military escalation. Behind the mortifying memes and cringeworthy TikToks, Harris is an absolute war hawk.

(...)
In these sensitive times, skilled diplomacy is essential—yet another area in which Harris is notably deficient.

And now the Liberal Media are trying to push the notion that the release of the Americans detained by Russia in the Prisoner swap was helped along by that  "Brilliant Diploma Kamala."  REALLY?? NOT SO.

When Kamala talks off her teleprompter, she often speaks in cliches and goes into word salad mode. Both of these characterize her lack of intelligence. Once we see and hear more of Kamala, we will realize that:

1) Kamala is indeed a DEI Hire,
2) Kamala is incompetent,
3) how liberal Kamala is;
4) how much she is out of step with most Americans.
5) Did I say that Kamala is NOT intelligent? Or will that get me labeled a racist? JUST know that Facts are Facts.
6) Kamala was the first Democrat to drop out of the race for the Presidency (based on my recollection).
7) Kamala earned ZERO delegates on her own (also based on my recollection).
8 ) Kamala is only getting the nomination since she is Biden's VP pick and
9) that BIDEN PROMISED A DEI Hire for Vice President. WELCOME Kamala.

And she was rated the most liberal Senator in the US Senate. And where is she from? Liberal California. And what part of CA? The most liberal, San Francisco.

And she is trying to hide or deny her liberal record and words and actions. The Liberal Media, which is MOST of the Media, is helping her hide and re-write the facts.

Her glow will fade as we closer to November.

And her glow is only so bright because Kamala replaced Biden, who is so feeble, so incompetent, and simply TOO OLD. The Democrats have given Americans some excellent choices. :o

and MORE; Let's contrast Trump and Kamala:

What does Kamala Harris really stand for? (...)

There are at least 10 core beliefs that have inspired candidate and President Donald Trump since he first considered running for the Oval Office, and which continue to headline his campaign.

Specifically, Trump has consistently fought to secure our border; reduce taxes; beef up law enforcement and make our streets safe; lighten regulation, allowing businesses to thrive; oppose unfair trade policies that send jobs overseas; strengthen our military; exit globalist treaties, such as the Paris climate accord, that disadvantage the U.S.; promote school choice; support Israel; and yes, make America great again.

Trump has steadfastly championed these policies, both on the campaign trail and when he was president. Because most of them make sense and are popular with most Americans, even Democrats have embraced some of these positions — for example, demanding fairer trade terms.

(...)
We know what Trump stands for, and what he would do as president. But what about Kamala Harris? What does she believe in? Voters must wonder. When she ran for president in 2019, she backed a ban on fracking; mandatory gun buybacks, i.e. gun confiscation; taxpayer-funded sex-change surgeries for prison inmates; racial reparations; decriminalizing illegal immigration; defunding the police; eliminating Immigration and Customs Enforcement; “Medicare for All”; the Green New Deal; and allowing felons to vote.

Now Harris is denying that everything she ever did was the real her. For instance, her campaign says she no longer favors outlawing fracking. Her shift no doubt reflects the unpopularity of that stance in Pennsylvania, a critical swing state.

Her campaign has also said she didn’t really mean she supported defunding the police. When she said to defund the police, she really just meant that the police should be smarter and tougher.

But Harris is sticking to some of her extreme positions, such as reparations, at least for now. Let’s see whether she flip-flops on that as well, when her backers do some polling and discover that less than one third of Americans endorse paying Black people to make amends for slavery.

Democrats, aided by their allies in the liberal media, are reinventing the vice president. They are eager to hide all traces of her progressive positions and policies. They know that far-left candidates are unelectable nationally, which is why Democrat bosses conspired to sideline Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in 2020 even though the self-described Democratic socialist had won the popular vote in the party’s first three primary contests.

Hence the frantic re-positioning of Harris on numerous controversial issues. Democrat pooh-bahs are thrilled that Harris was once a prosecutor and served as California’s attorney general, allowing them to present her as a law-and-order candidate. Unfortunately, her policy record during that phase of her career is just as confused as her campaign today.

For example, critics charge her with having supported Proposition 47, which reduced penalties on numerous crimes and arguably ushered in San Francisco’s current lawlessness. Others argue she cleverly refused to take a stance on important criminal justice issues during her tenure so as to avoid making unpopular choices.

Eventually, Harris will have to sit for a real interview. She will have to explain where she stands on a host of issues. It’s easy to escape scrutiny and avoid revealing your beliefs when you’re appearing before friendly groups like Black sororities and RuPaul’s Drag Race. But Harris will be exposed as a politician who swims with the polls and has no real core when she tries to explain her shifting views of fracking and “Medicare for All.”

So far, her campaign has successfully protected her from that kind of examination, redeploying tactics that similarly shielded Joe Biden during the 2020 race. Biden campaigned mainly from his basement, using COVID-19 as an excuse for not making more public appearances, Voters now know why: Even then, Biden was showing signs of mental impairment, which ultimately forced him out of this year’s race.

Americans will demand more from Harris. In recent weeks, the U.S. media has gone all out to whitewash and rewrite her past, hoping voters will forget that she was one of the most unpopular vice presidents in history. They have done a remarkable job bashing Donald Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), taking the spotlight off a vulnerable Harris.

(...)
On the issues important to voters, as opposed to the valiant whitewashing efforts of the New York Times, MSNBC et al, Trump wins.

The Trump campaign was wrong-footed by Joe Biden’s exit from the race. Now it is readying a tidal wave of negative advertising about Harris’s extremely unpopular and shifting positions. They will brand her as a lightweight and as inauthentic. The latter charge was also leveled against Hillary Clinton in 2016. It was true, it stuck and she lost. Kamala will suffer the same fate.

I think this is an incorrect and/or misleading post by saxi. It seems that this artist appeared at the Kamala rally and NOT that Harris was as HER concert.

Megan Thee Stallion announced to her 32.3 million Instagram followers on Monday that she would perform in support of the vice president. The artist was set to go on stage before Harris’ remarks at 7 p.m.

I'm extreme only in the sense that there is nothing one can say about Trump that will deter me from supporting him. However, I don't think he's the Angel Gabriel.

I think he's of average intelligence, I think he's arbitrary and capricious, I think he has bad personal taste, I think he exaggerates his own wealth. The only positive thing I can say about him, in terms of personality, is that I think he has a good sense of comedic timing and unconventional - but powerful - oratorical skills.

But I believe Trump will direct this country toward a place I want it go. Partly intentionally and maybe largely partly unintentionally. And the place I want it to go is not the same place the Kamala supporters desire to end up. For that reason, the endless 20-minute videos certain posters embed (does anyone watch them?) that itemize Trump's personal failings, are totally unconvincing to me. For all I know, they're all true. But I just don't care.
