Yes, and there was no priority, no desire, no push, and no motivation for their return any sooner, as I stated.
And no need. When a perfectly good bus ride is already scheduled, only someone with more money than brains will call a cab. Or did you want them to blow up the budget to organize some "emergency mission" when there was no real emergency?
I thought you were against waste.

Yes, and no logic in your comments.
What’s your fucking point?
Simple, that you are an idiot and a crude troglodyte. So your comments are simply insults that are full of vile and NONSENSE.
That was EASY.
No point.
They likely could’ve made the decision to return the astronauts on the Starliner.
It wound up returning safely.
Out of AN ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION they decide to have the Astronauts wait for the next scheduled Space-X flight.
The idea that they were “abandoned” or anything like that is just BS spin.
You calling me a Troglodyte does NOT address Dukes point in any way. You just repeat the same “Ultra Super Right” talking points of Trump and Co.
These PROFESSIONALS knew what they were signing up for and RISKING when they agreed to go up to the Space Station in the first place. There are many risks… they can die, they can get stuck up there longer than expected, they have to deal with the rigors of launch, space travel, and possibly extended stays in Space.
The idea that they were “abandoned” ignores that fact that there were several other astronauts on board as part of other regularly scheduled missions. The idea that they were “abandoned” ignores the fact that astronauts routinely stay on the space station for 6-12 months. The idea that they were “abandoned” ignores the fact that there was plenty of air, water, food, electricity to support them. The image being presented by Trump and Co. does NOT match reality.
The often quoted “They only got $5/day” is just an outright lie. The TRUTH is they got an “additional” $5/day stipend… which honestly seems silly. That is in ADDITION to their regular salaries, which is in excess of $150K/year. Never mind the fact that Astronauts don’t typically become Astronauts to get rich… they do it for glory, challenge, etc.
The Narrative does NOT match the facts.
