Why did I mentioned Russia's treatment of Syrians and Ukranians? Cause I see the hypocrisy of the politics from our outstanding posters of Saxi and Ralf. They sure can load up on bullshit and spray it indiscriminately over the whole thread, but usually with humor. They both seem to see Russia as a victim of NATO aggression, even though Russia has indiscriminately murdered tens of thousands of civilians in Africa, Middle East and Europe.

Hamas got themselves in this mess with a horror show of bloody mahem, torture, raping women until their pelvis broke and died, kidnapping and murder of civilians and it does not end there on October 7th.

Hamas and their supporters like to say "from the river to the sea!" I have no idea how this all ends, unless Hamas as an organization is destroyed...

The completely secular state of Palestine is the answer. No favored religion/ethnicity/race. Neither rabid anti-semitism nor rabid pro-semitism, just neutro-semitism, ... and yes semitic does refer to both jews and arabs.
The reason this does't happen because the people in power, which is obviously more Israel than Gaza/Hamas, don't want that. They want to maintain their cushy, racist, apartheid state of Israel. We know how that ended in South Africa, ...and it looks like it might be even bloodier in the Levant.

For instance, I keep saying that I, in fact, support Russia's invasion of Ukraine and it keeps blasting into threads with "SAXI - YOU MUST SUPPORT PUTIN'S INVASION OF UKRAINE!" like it's dropping some stunning insult on me, or as if I hadn't just said exactly that three seconds before.

It clearly has a routine of lines it's memorized to repeat back and is unable to confront scenarios which it hasn't been programmed to address.*

* i.e.
Input: You encounter someone who opposes U.S. Ukraine policy.
Output: Scream at the top your lungs that they support Putin.

(but when said person has already, overtly stated that they support Putin, it just looks like it's not able to run off its programming)

Pagers are still used by hospital staff here because, they are less disruptive to other electronics and you can't use them to play games, take pictures or several other things you shouldn't be doing at work.

Yesterday I over heard someone quite surprised to hear one go off ask, "You still have a pager?" The guy with it said, "Yeah me, (something I missed) and a few drug dealers in shady places are probably the last ones to still have them."
