Progressives are growing increasingly angry with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) after “squad” member Rep. Cori Bush’s (D-Mo.) primary loss earlier this week.

Bush was unseated by fellow Democrat Wesley Bell in a primary where AIPAC spent aggressively against her. Just weeks prior, the group poured $15 million in a primary to defeat Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.). Both races taken together, AIPAC invested nearly $24 million to take out two of the most prominent Black members of the left-wing cohort.

“She was such a fighter for everyday people,” said one progressive organizer who was cheering for both Bush’s and Bowman’s reelection efforts.

“Now all that district has is a Democratic nominee who has proven that his loyalty rests with big money interests that don’t give a damn about hungry babies in St. Louis,” the progressive said.

AIPAC celebrated Bush’s loss against Bell, a prosecutor from St. Louis, as a key step toward protecting the country’s alliance with Israel.

About 100 people were killed in the strike on the school in central Gaza City, which also left another 47 people injured, Gaza’s ministry for health said.

In one of his strongest condemnations of Israel since it invaded Gaza last October, Mr Martin suggested the targeting by the IDF of places relied upon for shelter by civilians, including children, seemed to be a deliberate strategy.

“The slaughter has to stop. It seems to me that Israel is premeditatedly facilitating and planning the killing of civilians and children,” he said.

The Jews have been given land, nearly all in a desert, and turned it into an oasis and a modern country. What did the Arab and Muslim population do with most of the land before the Jews? Not much.

What is the government in Israel now and then? A democracy. What about the Muslim and Bedouin and Arab populations? A kingdom and a dictatorship with NO free elections in Gaza since 2007. (I have discussed Gaza single election for Hamas already) in this thread.

I came into the world, not the way they thought I should. I came as a little baby. An innocent and defenseless baby I came. Not many saw the great wonder in my appearance.
