Something for FUN (no politics, no religion)

Great Saturday Morning Cartoons

1. Bugs Bunny

Oh, what a rascal, that Bugs Bunny! Imagine a world without his witty quips and carrot-chomping charm. From the moment he hopped onto our screens, he redefined what it meant to be cool. He was more than just a rabbit; he was a symbol of cleverness and resilience, always outsmarting his foes with a sly grin and a “What’s up, Doc?” It’s like he knew the secret to life was a good laugh and a quick escape. The way he navigated those Looney Tunes landscapes, always one step ahead, showed us that even in the craziest situations, a little humor goes a long way.

Think about it, Bugs was a master of disguise and a smooth talker. He could charm his way out of any predicament, and we loved him for it. His nonchalant attitude and ability to break the fourth wall made him feel like a friend, someone we could always count on for a good time. Experts often note the enduring appeal of Bugs’s anarchic spirit and his ability to subvert expectations. He embodied a certain kind of playful rebellion that resonated with audiences of all ages, making him an icon. His ability to always come out on top, with a quick wit and a clever plan, is a testament to his lasting appeal.

one of my favorites Cartoons..!

As I got older, I started to notice the sacasm and humor that only adults would likely get and appreciate; as I child, they were a funny comment or joke that I did not get.

Starblazers (in USA)

I believe it was originally called “Space Battleship Yamato” in Japan.

We had a number of awesome anime in the late 70’s/early 80’s. Most were not directly transcribed from their original Japanese sources… in many cases they were modified to fit American sensibilities and schedules.

Excuse me, some of want some FUN and want a break from Politics, Religion, and other controversial matters. :D =D>

Now you are looking like ConfedSS here, Saxi. :D  :D But you forgot to use INCOMPLETE sentences...and you left out NUMEROUS and...........excessive.............inclusion of ..........long ellipses.

and:
use the ominous ‘Boomer ellipses’: ‘Insane at best’

......

When typing a large paragraph, older adults might use what has been dubbed “Boomer ellipses” — multiple dots in a row also called suspension points — to separate ideas, unintentionally making messages more ominous or anxiety-inducing and irritating Gen Z.

Yes, let's change the subject while America's economy is crumbling while someone is off golfing with his Saudi friends.

No, I would rather have you explain Trump's economic policies. That would be FUN!

Tell us how fun it is, when ordinary working class families open up the mail and see thousands of dollars gone from their 401k retirement plans. Or, see prices skyrocket almost overnight when they grocery shop.

How about our farmers who now see their market share disappear.

Wall Street is sure having fun since Trump walked into the White House January 20th.

Recession is heading our way and the Oligarchs will get their over 4 trillion dollar tax cuts.

Trump said, “To the many investors coming into the United States and investing massive amounts of money, my policies will never change. This is a great time to get rich, richer than ever before!!!”

Let's have fun watching an unelected billionaire tear apart the safety net from underneath millions of struggling Americans.

BRACE FOR IMPACT! The fun is starting right before our eyes!
