It was HIS DNA under HER fingernails, that the defense call CIRCUMSTANTIAL or some such. How did THAT get there? One way I know of, that makes sense.

The killing became political, much to the dismay of her (Laken's) father. I think he felt enough grief. The politics apparently worked to help Trump and Republicans on the issue of illegal immigration.

Laken was raped during this HEINOUS Crime, or at least he attempted to rape her.

She fought for her life and dignity and to save herself from being brutally raped. This sick, twisted and evil coward showed no regard for Laken or human life."

Riley's sister, Lauren, called Ibarra a "monster."

"I am completely disgusted having to even look and be in the same room as him," Lauren said. "That predator is inhumane and is the epitome of evil. I have no doubt in my mind that the monster sitting in this room with us today is the same monster that encountered my precious sister on February 22nd, 2024, where he proceeded to attack … murder and attempt to rape her

I am not sure of the flights around the US, and ConfedSS rarely cites sources. I will not quibble with those details and I am not sure about them.

Also, I am not sure one rape and murder goes to a Death Penalty case in the US today. That may depend on State laws and, as ConfedSS suggests, may depend on the DA prosecuting the case. I also find it odd that the defendant did not opt for a jury trial, as usually the case.
