so apparently CC is just filled with highly gifted intellectuals...and a good amount of nobel prize geniuses as well? either these tests are slightly off or people want to lie to seem smarter...

Notice how everyone's score hovers between 130-140...they want to seem pretty smart, but not too smart so that you wouldn't know that they were lying. :wink:

LOL! I just took 2 free ones online...one at 133 and one at 115...there was a third one I started but would have ended with the same score as a sack of diapers...was all current events......very interesting......

it appears i can't do IQ tests. i just tried an online 1 and i couldn't confidently answer any of the questions i looked at. it mite not help that i hav a head full of heavy metal blasting out of my mac but i still think that its i can't do them. i am an 'A star student' apparently and my results are proving that correct but i think that IQ tests and most qualifications at school are crap. i know a very intelligent and clever person who gets Cs and Ds even though he is easily on a par with me in conversation and generally. how is it that people can put so much stock into such a futile attempt at measuring intelligence?

Assuming you are talking about IQ tests...you could also say the same thing about grades. Your grades do not measure intelligence, they show that you are willing to do all the work that you are assigned and that you will/can study. There were several people in my high school graduating class who graduated summa cum laude and magna cum laude who were dumb as shit. I don't put much stock in grades or IQs...I can identify an intelligent person through their actions and how they converse.
