I don't know if this has been talked about or not yet, but I was watching the Man City vs Portsmouth game the other day, did anyone else see Ben Thatchers foul? It was disgusting, if you haven't, watch this video and tell me what you think. It was almost criminal in my opinion, he never has an intention of going for the ball, that would have been a bad tackle in most sports lol.

a bad foul but the likes of roy keane has done just as worse and there was never talk about banning him completly,but mybe he should be jailed for a few months,like big duncan fergeson was (its still a serious assault)

what ben thatcher did was disgusting, i watched a tv programme the other day and it showed 3 other tackles he has made similar in the past, that is not the first time he has put another player in hospital either, look back to his wimbledon days.
i think a ban should be handed out here and an example should be set don't forget if he did this off the pitch, with his previous he could've got a 6 month stretch.

edit-not a lifetime ban though maybe 1 season or something

i am a man city fan and i am that he did that challenge and i do think he deserves the ban he has got because he is a bit of a loony and not even a good player stephen jordan is a better player than him
