Emperor of Aule Short-Terminator Series Congratulations to the Emperor of Aule - molespe Details: Amidst a series of uprisings throughout the Known World , the power of the
High King is waning.
Having developed a range of fearsome weapons during recent times of peace, perhaps now is your chance to rally your troops and depose the High King.
The local seer has prophecised that the occupation of the High King will soon come to an end, and that your people will rule the Known World with a mightier empire. The seer's prophetic vision included an image of someone very much resembling yourself as an Emperor.
Is it your Destiny to become Emperor?
This tournament is another in a series of Short Terminator tournaments.
It is open to all players with a decent attendance record (see below).
Freemiums welcome (although three-games-at-a-time).
Tournament Format show
Initial Stage Second Stage Final Stage * In Phases I & II, if points do not determine automatic and play-off quaifiers then competitors will also be compared on the number of terminations, then number of rounds survived in the phase in question. If this does not prove to determine qualifying competitors then a tie-break battle will occur. In the event of a tie-break of more than 2 players determining more than 1 qualifying position, points, number of terminations, then order of elimination will be considered (i.e. last surviving players).
Settings show
Fog of War will be present in all battles due to minimal military intelligence on Aule, and surprise attacks. (Other settings will be Terminator, Sequential, No Trench, 20 Round Limit and Automatic)
Competitor Requirements show
There will be 20 competitors.Fremiums allowed but 3 slots must be available at all times.
Group Allocation show
Competitors will be allocated groups according to random.org for the first stage.
Reserves show
All reserves will be sent a PM when an opening occurs. The first reserve to respond will gain a place.
Joining Battles show
Competitors will be sent an invite when they have a match and will have 24 hours to join. If they fail to do so then they will be ejected from the tournament and a reserve will replace them.
Missing Turns show
If a player misses a turn then he cannot score any points in the game in question. If a player deadbeats at any stage then he will be ejected from the tournament.
Partnerships / Regular opponents show
Competitors must inform the tournament organiser if they have a regular partner or opponent that is also featuring in the tournament. The organizer can then ensure these competitors do not play together to avoid any potential claims of foul play by other players.
First Turn Fog of War Courtesy Rule show
Where Fog of War is present, the competitor who goes first in round 1 must either wait 10 hours before taking their turn, or inform their opponent(s) in game chat of any regions conquered during their first move, and where from. Failure to do either will mean the competitor in question is unable to score any points in the game.by PM
