This tourney is part of the CC Olympics Event. You need do nothing but sign up for this event. For more info, see this page: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=206502
If you are freemium, make sure you have the required amount of spaces open at the start of each round, or you will disqualified from the games you cannot join.
As you all probably know, the Olympics started in Greece, so for this tourney, we will play on Ancient Greece! I am looking for 64 players.
Map: Ancient Greece
Standard
Auto
Sequential
Escalating
Chained
No fog or trench
30 round limit
You will be randomly seeded by Random.org for all rounds.
Failure to accept invites twice will result in disqualification from the tournament.
Round 1:
You'll each play two 4-player games. The winner of these games will advance to the next round. If the same player wins twice, there will be a 3-player tie-breaker game between the remaining players.
Round 2:
Round two will have 32 players. You will be paired up with one other player and play 3 games against them. Whoever wins the majority will move on to the next round.
Round 3:
Round three will have 16 players. There will be two 8 player games. The winner of each of these games will move on to the final round
Round 4:
The final two will face off with 5 games. If both players are premium, all games will be sent at once. If one or both are freemium, the games will be sent out at a pace where the freemium(s) can handle it. The player who wins the most will be crowned champion!
Medals will be awarded for this tourney. The winner will receive platinum, the other finalist will receive gold, the player with the most wins besides finalists will receive silver, and second most wins will receive bronze. Tie-breaker games will be issued with the same map and settings for any ties between silver and bronze medals. Tie-breaker games from the previous rounds will NOT count towards wins for the silver and bronze medals.
