Hello all
This will be a terminator tournament where the winner will be the player with the most points.
The points are acquired as follows:
1 point for every player you eliminate
3 points for winning a game (or only 2 if you win by eliminating only 1 player)
Tournament Settings:
Players: 24
Map: Japan
Game Settings: Automatic, Sequential, Chained, Flat Rate, Sunny, NO Trench, 30 rounds.
To avoid long stalemates, I will restrict games to 30 rounds. At which point the winner will receive only 2 points for winning. Any eliminations between round 1 and 30 will count normally.
Structure:
Each player will play a total of 8 6-player games. These will be played 8 at a time (or 2 at a time for each player). The players will be seeded randomly using random.org. After 32 games, the player with the most points wins. In case of a tie, the person with the most games won will be the winner. If that number is also a tie, the player with the least "deaths" will win.
Freemiums are free to join provided they have 2 open game slots at all time.
This is a trial run for this tournament style and structure. If it runs well, I may repeat it.
I tried to make it in a way that encourages winning the games, but also rewards eliminations.
If you run into problems during the tournament please send me a PM.
