Sign in
To sign in please chose one of the following families:
Corleone

Cuneo
Stracci
Only one game at a time so Freemiuns are wellcome!
Rules
- If you are killed, you are dumped in the bottom of the river (and you are out of the mafia and the tournament for obvious reasons );
- Each game will have one member of each family (you goal will always be to kill the members of the other families) until there is one family left;
- When there is only one family, members of that family will play assassin games until there is a winner (the tournament winner);
- If you kill your target you earn 1+ respect;
- If you kill the target of other, he is killed but you earn no respect.
- If you win the game by time limit or by matching the victory condition, you get 1+ respect and no one is killed. "I mean, we're not murderers, in spite of what this undertaker thinks" - Don Corleone
- When a family has an excess of members (i.e. one family has more members than any other), the members with more respect won't play any game (and therefore do not risk to be killed). In case of a tie, antiquity will be a tie-break (i.e. if you earned your respect earlier you are ahead of the others).
Maps & Story
Since this is a story-based tournament, only a part of the maps are decided. If other rounds are needed, games will be played on the same maps or in other maps that have some sort of relation with the theme of the tournament.
Round 1:
1860s - Everything starts in Italy during the unification. Italy starts to change socialy and politicaly. In this time of chaos, in Sicily, the most desperate peasants seek protection and the scarce official policemen can do little. Local elites in countryside towns are recruiting young men to hunt down thieves and negotiate the return of stolen property, in exchange for a pardon for the thieves and a fee from the victims. The mafia begins...
Round 2:
1880s - The unification meant little good to the Sicilian people. Millions emmigrate to the USA. They start simple jobs. Some own butcheries where they sell meat for the meat balls and lasagnas. But there will be more blood and roasted meat besides the beef...
Round 3:
1900s - The Mafia begins to gain power in New York
Round 4:
1920s-1930s - Prohibition was an excellent opportunity for the Mafia to make profit and gain more control
Round 5:
1940s - Alcohol is legal again and the Mafia has to keep their profits. They move into gambling
Round 6:
1945 - WWII ends and poverty and chaos strikes again in Italy. A very nice oportunity to return to the homeland
Round 7 & 8:
1950s - The Mafia has power over all USA and even in the Senate
Round 9:
1960s - The police arrests a lot of important Mafia members
