UPDATE!!!!!
Forgot to include that for those looking to score points in the TPA3, this is a Premier event and worth higher points than a standard event would give.
This is a Tournament Players Association Year 3 (TPA3) event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments which are detailed at http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=175675.
All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You need do nothing more than join one or more of the TPA3 events that will be announced each Monday. Check back on the scoreboard to see how you're doing:
Hello everyone. The Rumble for Route 66 has begun!!! Who will dominate the map and come out the victor?
This one will be a point based tournament depending on how you play in your games.
This should be a fairly quick tourney with fast paced action. Players will randomly be placed in groups of 4 to play games each round. Players will play one game at a time so Freemiums are welcome, but must have at least 75 games completed and save one slot for the tourney. No one will play more than one game at a time.
Play is simple. Each round players will play 4 games total. You score points as follows:
Win the game: 8 points
2nd place: 5 points
3rd place: 3 points
Last place: 1 point
Take a player out: 1 point
Take all 3 players out: 5 point bonus
Points do accumulate each round, and continue into further rounds.
Map: Route 66
Settings: Auto, Sequential, Fog, Chained, No Trench, Flat, 30 round limit
Round play: Depending on the number of players that sign up, determines total number of rounds.
Round 1: Top two point grabbers move on to Round 2.
Round 2: Top two point grabbers move on to Round 3.
Round 3: Top two point grabbers move on to Round 4.
etc.
Final Round: When there is a final 4 players, there will be a 5 game count instead of 4 to finish off the final round.
UPDATE TO Note on scoring points: If you win the game by holding the game objective, Troop counts will count as place markers for remaining places.
***Tiebreaker Rule*** tied players in each group will play a single game to determine who moves forward, unless the tied players are also the top two players in the group.
