Jim's Tourney Series #12: Ricky Bobby [Winner: Ltrain]

So I came up with a new idea: How about a series of 64 tournaments, of varying format and on varying boards, each with a theme? The winner of each gets to participate in the GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP, a NCAA basketball style tournament, with predetermined settings for each matchup! Win more than one, find yourself on multiple bracket lines and more chances to win it all. The winner of tournament 1 will get first pick of the 64 slots, tournament 2 second pick, and so on. Some tournaments will have teams, some singles. Some have Fog related settings, some Spoils settings, some on certain boards, some on any board.

"If you ain't first, you're last." These are the famous words of racecar driver Ricky Bobby. That's also the underlying theme of this tournament - it will consist of 4 or 6 player games, but the only thing that counts is the number of wins you have. The tournament will begin with 36 players. Each Round will feature either 4 or 6 player games, all on the same map within a given round. The catch is, you don't know the maps coming (only I do) or the players you will play against (which will be randomized each round). After all, you have no idea what will cross your path in a NASCAR race! The first 6 players to reach 6 wins will advance to the championship round, and all other players will be eliminated then.
The final 6 players will each get to choose one map that has not yet been played in the tourney. One game will be played on each map. Any players with 0 wins over those 6 games will be eliminated, and the remaining players repeat the process (each chooses one map not previously played, each is played once, all players who do not win at least one game are out) until only one player remains.
