Hi all!

I am organizing the Knife in the back! tournament for the second time. A fast paced and fun tournament for 2 player teams in which everything is possible! Only one thing is 100% certain... In the big finale your trusted teammate is going to try and stab you in the back as you battle the final game against each other. So think carefully who you're going to team up with.

So sign up now by posting your name and that of your teammate in a reply on this thread!
You can also sign up without a teammate by posting just your name and I'll match you with the next solo player as a doubles team.

These are the specs:

Knife in the back! tournament - 2nd edition

Tournament organizer: Vinzzz
Game type: doubles
Number of teams: 8
Numer of rounds: 4 (8 teams - 4 teams - 2 teams - 1 vs 1) - each round has a best of 3 games structure
Maps: every round both teams choose 1 map. This map may vary per round. If there is no decision after 2 games the 3rd and final map will always be Doodle Earth.
Initial troops: automatic
Play order: Sequential
Spoils: flat rate
Reinforcements: chained
Special gameplay: fog of war
Round limit: 30
Round length: 24 hours
Game over: the winner(s) announce a win within 24 hours in this thread or through a PM

Allright people - we need one more single player and one or two reserves and we can get this show on the road!

Nibotha and slickstick already posted their map of choice they want to play in round one. I'd like to ask the other couples to deliberate and pick a map as well for round one and post it or PM it so we can have a quick start when the tournament is full.

Allright guys - we're ready to go! Brainalack is willing to act as a reserve and I have added Glandias. Thanks for that guys!

I would like a map of choice for round one from every team within 24 hours. Either through a PM or a post in this thread. For those who don't know their teammate please contact him/her and decide what map you want to play as a doubles team.

I'll post who's going to fight who as soon as I have drawn this from the high hat.

Round one has started! Most game are active now. Invites for the first game have been sent. Passwords can be found in a PM I sent each of you.

Just waiting for a map from team 4 and then that game will be on the way too!
