Duk, can you clarify what qualifies as the best individual performance? Is it total number of wins? Wins percentage? Will players that advance further have a better chance at winning or can a very good Preliminary round score make someone a contender? TO's discretion? Just curious. Thanks

Good question. I'll admit I was thinking that it was going to be based on total wins, but since I've had a lot of time to think about it, I think win percentage is more fair.
We will keep total wins as a tiebreaking condition for this, so yes, there will be an advantage for those who advance further: if your win percentage is the same as somebody else's, but you have advanced further, you will end up with more total wins. However, somebody with a stellar performance in the Prelim rounds could still take home the medal without advancing, if his win percentage remains unchallenged.
I'm updating the first post to reflect this, and I'll also send a message to DJ to make sure it's still good, although I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be.
