My first tourney is well under way and I'd like to get my second started ASAP. I need 16 experienced players to begin, hoping to have 5 reserves as well.
This tournament is based on The Apprentice TV show featuring Donald Trump in the US and Alan Sugar in the UK. To get on the show you must be good at your job so you need a minimum of Captain (1800+) at time of sign up to be eligible to play.
The players will be split up into 2 random groups each round and will play Random Map, Seq, Esc, Unl, Sunny games.
Last place gets eliminated each round. Dead beaters will be eliminated.
As you only have 1 game at a time this tournament is open to freemiums but you have 3 days maximum from pm to join to being replaced by a sub / eliminated.
I will create all games, send you PM's with your games and passwords and I will report all games and maintain the standings. But feel free to post in this thread your results for bragging rights etc
Current positions will be updated on a daily basis and displayed in the results post.
FORMAT WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
Round 1:
2x 8 man Random Map, Seq, Esc, Unl, Sunny games
Round 2:
2x 7 man Random Map, Seq, Esc, Unl, Sunny games
Round 3:
2x 6 man Random Map, Seq, Esc, Unl, Sunny games
Round 4:
2x 5 man Random Map, Seq, Esc, Unl, Sunny games
Round 5:
2x 4 man Random Map, Seq, Esc, Unl, Sunny games
Round 6:
2x 3 man Random Map, Seq, Esc, Unl, Sunny games
Round 7:
2x 2 man Random Map, Seq, Esc, Unl, Sunny games
Round 8 - FINAL:
2 player Random Map, Seq, Esc, Unl, Sunny games
A simple format but as the groups get smaller the tactics will get more cutthroat to avoid being fired. Also because all rounds have a random map assignment the winner will truly need to be able to perform in all situations that get thrown at him / her just like in the TV show you will need to be an all rounder not just a "one trick pony".
