THE ESCALATING EUROPE TOURNAMENT [CHAMPION: BarbieB]

This tournament is intended to be a back-to-basics type of tournament. With all of the amazing and complex tournaments that get announced I felt it was time that we go back to our roots as RISK players and have a tournament featuring some of the more classic gameplay settings.
The tournament will feature 25 players (premium only) who will be divided into 5 divisions by their score. Each division will play 10 games (2 sets of 5 games) and their finishing position will determine their score for each game. The player with the highest score at the completion of 10 games will advance to a final group where the process will be repeated, giving us a tournament champion.
All games will be played on the following settings: Europe Map, Sequential, Escalating Cards, Chained Fortifications, No Fog, 5 Players
Scoring for each game will be as follows:
1st: 6 points
2nd: 4 points
3rd: 3 points
4th: 1 point
5th: 0 points
I would love to have a handful of reserves before we start, just to be on the safe side. This will be a very simply, easy to understand tournament, so if you have a premium membership, sign up quick.
The tournament will start within 1 week of filling up.
