Posted: Tue Dec 04, 2007 11:30 am
Here it is once in a lifetime chance to lead your favourite national soccer team to
World Cup 2010 in South Africa! What makes it so unique? You are the Coach and the faith of your team is in your hands. Do you know your team enough? Are you ready to pick a stadium that fits your team? Do you know your players enough and know which positions they should play? Are you clever enough to make strategies that will lead your team to victory and leave others nothing but their sweaty shirts and muddy boots?
Winner of World Cup 2010 will be awarded with
6 months premium!
To win the award, you first need to qualify in one of the 6 regions and then win the final tournament. For the prize, lets say thanks to Lack.
This tournament will consist of 7 different parts: 6 Qualifying Groups (1 for each region) and the final World Cup 2010 with all the teams (coaches) who proved in the qualifying rounds that they are worthy to represent their country and team in South Africa.
6 Qualifying Groups will be lead by separate organisers (referees) at the same time and though there are several referees then the tournament is still one and the same (one referee cant whistle all the matches ).
After all 6 Qualifying Groups have finished their games, there will be one last challenge. World Cup 2010 games and only one Coach is good enough to lead his/her team to victory to be the Soccer Champion of the World in 2010.
Were trying to keep it as real as possible to World Cup 2010, so all the teams, formats and groups are very similar to everything that is actually in real life.

Big thanks to Kahless who came up with this tournament idea at the beginning. Though he decided to leave the site and abandon his tournament, we (6 TOs) decided to pick up the great idea, tweak it a bit (16 pages of discussion in Tournament Organiers Usergroup) and bring it to you. Enjoy!
