A: It is for relentless players – you get just 14 hours to take your turn.
If you take any longer than that more than once then you lose the match. Simple!
The idea is that we have a very fast tournament. If it proves to be a hit then there will be more relentless tournaments - both quick and more developed in style.
The Setting You are a secret agent for a Confederalist Coalition group, planning to take over the EU and sieze economic and political power.
Along with a number of other special agents you are charged to undertake a number of missions to assassinate politicians and key figures from independantist groups..
With political summits about to take place in Luxembourg and San Marino, the opportunity to eliminate some of your targets presents itself …
This tournament is the second in a series of Special Agent tournaments. It is open to all players with a decent attendance record.

Initial Phase: Four groups of four agents undertake a mission to eliminate a target in Luxembourg. Successful agents will remain in employment. Remaining agents in each group will then attempt to eliminate another target. Again, successful agents will remain in employment.Advanced Phase: Four groups of four agents undertake a mission to eliminate a target in San Marino. Successful agents will remain in employment. Remaining agents in each group will then attempt to eliminate another target. Again, successful agents will remain in employment.Final Stage: Four players will undertake a highly crucial mission to eliminate a key French political figure blocking confederalist progress. The successful candidate will achieve significant recognition with the movement. If, at any stage, a player twice fails to take his turn within the stipulated 14 hours then that player is eliminated from the tournament. If that player completes the mission in question then it will be replayed with one fewer player.
Match Options show
The initial phase will take place on the Luxembourg map. The Advanced phase will take place on the San Marino map. The final phase will take place on the France map. Matches will be Assassin and Sequential, with Escalating Spoils, Adjacent Reinforcements and Fog of War.
Players show
There will be 16 players. Players must have a 97% attendance record, have played a minimum 25 matches, and not have dropped out from one of my tournaments previously! Players will have 24 hours to join their matches from when the joining PM is sent. Failure to do so will result in a reserve being sought (harsh, I know). * Winners of each match should PM the Tournament Organiser with details of the no. of terminations for each player. Failure to do so straight after match completion will result in points not being awarded.
Group Allocation show
Players will be allocated groups according to random.org.
Reserves show
All reserves will be sent a PM when an opening occurs. The first reserve to respond will gain a place. For the first round, reserves will be drawn from the reserve list. In the semi-finals, reserves will be drawn from players eliminated from the quarter-finals. In the final stage, reserves will not be sought. If players are missing then matches will take place with one fewer player than planned.
Joining Matches show
Players will be informed when they have a match and will have 24 hours to join. If they fail to do so then they will be ejected from the tournament and a reserve will replace them.
Winning Matches show
* Winners of each match are expected to PM the Tournament Organiser with details of the no. of terminations for each player. Failure to do so straight after match completion will result in points nt being awarded.
Build-Up Matches show
The position of players after 24 rounds will determine how points are awarded. The remainder of the game would then be a points-only affair.
Partnerships / Regular opponents show
Players must inform the tournament organiser if they have a regular partner or opponent that is also featuring in the tournament. The organizer can then ensure these players do not play together to avoid any potential claims of foul play by other players. If reports of suspected foul play are made and the players in question have not declared that they are regular partners / opponents then they will be both be ejected from the tournament without question or the need for irrefutable evidence.
