Should I wait to do another one? Probably? Am I going to? Apparently not.
All of my other tournaments are in the closing stages for the most part and I need a small tournament to have some fun with to pass the time while finals and end of semester work is wrapping up. What does that mean? You guessed it, another Point Grabbers. 
This time we are going to explore some of the more non-standard maps available on the site. Enjoy!All players are free to join, but please note that non-premium players need to have a slot available within 72 hours of the tournament filling up. This particular series fills fast and moves quickly. All players have 72 hours to join their games before risking forfeit.
The tournament will feature 1 vs 1 games on a series of maps as the players make their way through a 16 player, single-elimination bracket. All games will be sequential with no spoils, chained reinforcements and no fog (in order to diminish the ‘first turn advantage’ spoken of throughout the forums).
First Round: Age of Merchants
Second Round: Draknor - Level 1
Semi-Finals: Treasures of Galapagos
Finals: Waterloo
In the end, you don’t have much to lose by joining this tournament. At worst you lose 40-50 points (if you have an extremely high rank), and at best you break even if you win 1 or 2 games. Some players have been known to walk away from this tournament with a 100 point net gain. It’s definitely worth the risk, I promise.
Players will be seeded 1 through 16 by their score and then the highest score plays the lowest, etc.
