You can choose any three maps. You get to pick the settings for these maps. If you lose on one of your maps you lose that map. Once you have lost all three maps you will be eliminated from the tournament.
When you sign up for the tournament please list in order your maps and settings. Three different maps must be chosen. Settings for each are up to you. If you do not specify an order, I will randomly choose one.
I will use abbreviations for easier recordkeeping.
- S for sequential vs F for freestyle
E for escalating vs F for Flat vs N for No spoils
A for adjacent vs C for Chained vs U for Unlimited
S for sunny vs F for foggy
Ex.:SNCF (sequential, no spoils, chained forts, foggy).
Each round you will play someone on one of your maps and on one of theirs. If you win on your map you get to keep it for the next round. If not then you will play on your second map for the next round. then your third for the round after you lose your second map.
In the final game if both players eliminate each other on their last maps then a "tiebreaker" will be played. Those final maps will be resurrected and the finals will be played again.
we will start this tournament with 20 players. And a reminder to nonpremium players. You will need to keep two slots open when this tourney begins.
Edit. The tournament has been increased to 24 players. no more increases will be done.
Good luck!
