Terrorism 101
Anyone with one free slot can sign up!

The life of terrorism is exhilirating, unexpected, and challenging. Ever wondered if you have what it takes to be an A-class terrorist?

Disclaimer: I am not a terrorist, I do not support it, and I'm not trying to encourage terrorism here, nor do I intend any offense to USA and players from USA.

Gameplay
In Round 1, you have it easy. In a group of 3, only one will be eliminated from the selection process, meaning you only have to make sure you aren't the first to go in the game.

Rounds 2 to 4 of the training course will pit you against another single wannabe terrorist, in other words, a 1v1 structure, where pairings will be done randomly every round. This head-to-head style should bring out the best in each one, to outdo their opponent and emerge victorious to advance.

After these 4 rounds, we will be left with the top 3 wannabe terrorists, who will then face off against each other in a single group. In this final round we shall be revising your previous work, applying all skills you should have honed by now, with the best performance earning first class honours.

Round 1 - Landscape Familiarization
show
The first thing a terrorist has to do is familiarize himself with the location he plans to target. Get to know the landmarks worth destroying, the places where casualties will be highest, and everything a "good" terrorist should consider.

Map: USA
Type: Standard
Order: Sequential
Cards: Escalating
Fortifications: Unlimited
FoW: Sunny
Advancing: 24 of 36

Round 2 - Infiltration
show
Next, you need to infiltrate their leaders' domains, and listen in to possible points of weaknesses within the area of targetted destruction, and possibly identify some people in their administration you'd like to target in addition.

Map: U.S. Senate
Type: Standard
Order: Sequential
Cards: Escalating
Fortifications: Unlimited
FoW: Sunny
Advancing: 12 of 24

Round 3 - Target Site Familiarization
show
Now, you have chosen the best site for your plan of action: the subway. Before you can plant your bomb(s) there, you need to be familiar with the entire subway system to plan out where you want to place your bomb(s) for maximum damage.

Map: Rail USA
Type: Standard
Order: Sequential
Cards: Escalating
Fortifications: Unlimited
FoW: Sunny
Advancing: 6 of 12

Round 4 - Escape
show
After you have performed your treachery, the surroundings would have changed beyond recognition. The bomb would have destroyed many landmarks, and you still have to take your leave before you are caught at the borders. Anyone who is too slow will be left behind. Also, dust from the explosion will be clinging to the air, causing the area to be foggy, and limiting your vision to the areas directly around you.

Map: USApocalypse
Type: Standard
Order: Sequential
Cards: Escalating
Fortifications: Unlimited
FoW: Foggy
Advancing: 3 of 6

Round 5 - Complete Simulation
show
In this last round, you will be doing the entire sequence of events as if you were performing the actual task. Take this as a trial run in the underground bunker we've set aside specially for you. Outdo the competition in the terrorism world in each of these sections, where points will be given based on your performance to outlast your opponents. These points are accumulative over the entire round, and will ultimately decide who the top terrorist is.

All settings will be exactly the same as previous rounds. For formalities' sake, here they are:

Maps: USA, U.S. Senate, Rail USA, USApocalypse
Type: Standard
Order: Sequential
Cards: Escalating
Fortifications: Unlimited
FoW: Sunny (3) and Foggy (1)
Point System: 1st - 3pts, 2nd - 1pts, 3rd - 0pts

Tiebreaker:
In case of a tie, the 2 involved parties will choose their home map, and I will choose a neutral ground map. A series of three 2-player games will be played on these maps, and the one who wins at least 2 will win the tournament.

Whoever emerges victorious in the fifth and final round will earn the fear of global leaders on the international scale!

Notes
1. I reserve the right to change aspects of the game if anything needs changing, to ensure fairness to all players or for the benefit of the tournament.
2. If you wish to withdraw from the tournament at any time, please inform me via personal message or post on this thread.

6. If you are know you are not going to be around for a duration of time, please inform me. If the period of time is short enough, I will delay all of your games.

8. For any questions, problems etc you may voice it out in this thread or you can PM me.

First of all, I'm not joining as I have no slot open for at least a month...

What I did wanna say is that you took a bad theme, and made it AMAZING, the maps with the level names, the stages in a life (or a death) of a terrorist, it's shows that you put a lot of effort to it (not like the regular tourneys, take one map, put a lot of heads up and the last to stand is Conqueror of ____)

=D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>
