Championship Series: Classic Shapes [Winner: Bones2484]

Postby barterer2002 on Fri Dec 05, 2008 5:35 pm

This is part of the Championship series:

I plan to run a short tourney on every map. This map is Classic Shapes. This will continue until either all maps have been completed or I run out of time. Here's the setup

16 players. These are fast hitting.

1v1 series best of 3 first to two wins moves on.
All games are no cards, chained, sunny

The winner of each tourney will have a priority seating into the next session that begins. They will have 24 hours to accept their seat or forfeit it.

We're not back yet, the series will return after the new year but I thought I'd throw these two out there for the holidays

There will be times when more than one are running at a time but that is not guaranteed.

Freemiums are welcome but must be able to join 2 games when we start.

Expect these to fill quickly, aside from the previous winner its first come first served.

Any no show will not be eligible to join the next session.

Today I am starting 2 sets. Classic Art and Classic Shapes. Players may only join one of the two. Anyone who joins both will be assigned to one or the other at my discretion but in an effort to allow more players to join its one or the other of these two.

Normally I send out announcements but I have been asked by the TDs not to do so as often for these series. Thus, in the spirit of compromise I will be sending out PMs for every other set of new series. Thus these two will not get an announcement unless they sit out there for more than 48 hours.

You know... I've probably played in your tournaments more than any other organizer. But I've never won one.

Guess I'll keep trying! Sign me up please!

Part of that is because I've run more than most. I would guess that most tourney regulars are going to find that they've joined more of mine, OPs, Nates or ZZs at this point with a few finding Ricco or Gilligan mixed in. I don't think anyone else is close to the sheer volume.

Blitz, the rules of these when I start them is that I start two at a time, open to anyone but that you can only join one or the other of the ones I've opened up. People who sign up for both, I assign to one or the other, you're assigned to Art since you signed up for both.
