My first tournament not based on a TV series! Okay, as it says above, it is ridiculous, but it’s probably not that complicated to you. Maybe to some people it is, but ridiculously complicated sounds better than the ridiculous classic tournament.
Basics:
Premiums and Non-Premiums are both accepted. Non-Premiums have to reserve 1 free slot from Rounds 1-5, and if they make it into the finals, they must reserve 3 slots.
Number of Players: 36 (plus 5 reserves)
Map: Classic
Game Type: Standard
Play Order: Sequential
Bonus Cards: Random
Fortifications: Chained
Fog of War: No
Number of Games: Depends. Minimum is one, there is no maximum (or at least I don’t know of one.)
Round 1:
Players will be split into six groups of six. They will then play on Classic, Standard, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, and Sunny. First eliminated is kicked out.
Round 2:
Players will be split into five groups of six. You will not play anybody that you played in the first round. They will then play on Classic, Standard, Sequential, Flat Rate, Chained and Sunny. First eliminated is kicked out.
Round 3:
Players will be split into four groups of six. You will not play anybody that you played in the second round, but you might play somebody that you did in the first round. They will then play on Classic, Standard, Sequential, No Cards, Chained, and Sunny .First eliminated is kicked out.
Round 4:
Players will then be split into three groups of six. You may or may not play anybody from the third round. They will then play on Classic, Standard, Sequential, Escalating, Chained and Sunny. First eliminated is kicked out.
Round 5:
Players will then be split into six groups of two. You will likely not play anybody that you have played from the fourth round. They will then play on Classic, Standard, Sequential, Flat Rate, Chained and Sunny. Winner moves on to the finals.
Round 6:
This starts the complicated part. All the winners will be playing on a bigger version of the Classic map. The “bigger map” will be played on Classic, Standard, Sequential, No Cards, Chained, and Sunny. I will be operating this map. To see who goes first, etc., there will be another game (Classic, Standard, Sequential, No Cards, Chained and Sunny), Winner will go first, second will go second and so on. Winner also gets first pick on different colors s/he is allowed to choose from, (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink and black). In order to operate the dice, you will play a one on one game with the person you are facing. They will always play 3 games, (always will be Classic, Standard, Sequential, No Cards, Chained and Sunny.) I will be neutral if there are any. Attacker chooses which games count toward dice winning. (Only needed to choose 2 at most for the choices of games, less if defender only has one army). Defender is free to forfeit if it is a ridiculous amount of dice (like 50-48) and they are not interested in fighting all the games. The attacker will lose half of the defender’s armies (rounded up to the nearest whole number), and the defender will lose all of their armies. This will go on until somebody wins. I will pick randomly where each person’s territories are.
Notes:
*If somebody drops out at the final round (the big game part), their armies will be split up between people, and any leftovers will be turned into neutral.
*You must PM me where you deploy your armies, and where you wish to fortify, so that I can update it into the board. You are free to post it, but beware, I might not see it if you post it rather than PM me.
*Ignore lists are IGNORED in my tournament. If somebody is on your ignore list, drop them while you are playing them or else you will be replaced.
If you have any questions, problems, etc, feel free to post here or PM me.
